11th Street Taphouse & Grille

My husband and I randomly found this place (someone else's food looked good when we walked by) so we tried it. We found a new favorite beer (golden monkey) and really enjoyed our meal (bacon wrapped scallops and crab cakes)

The food is above average and the beer selection is great. The hotel next door usually has a band playing so sit outside for some free entertainment. not many vegetarian/vegan options but they will try if you ask to alter for your needs

Great Beer and Food selection. Friendly staff. The restaurant is located on the boardwalk with a seating area on the patio. Burger was full of flavor and the drinks were tasty.

One of the best places we had dinner at. Seated right away. She-crab soup was the best and a palate for the selection of beers was enjoyed.

My husband and I went for a casual dinner after a day of golf. Went to the 11th Street Taphouse Bar & Grille and had a great time! The ribs were absolutely the best we have ever had! We were there 2 nights ago and are headed back tonight! Our waitress Jessica was really sweet and attentive.

The advertised Build Your Own Bloody Marys drew us in to the 11th Street Taphouse. For only $3.50 on Saturdays and Sundays before 3pm you can get a nice sized glass of vodka or gin and begin your creation. A selection of fresh garnishes are on hand including large olives, bacon, blue and cheddar cheese bits, peppers, garlic, celery, etc. I made mine with the delicious Zing Zang mix and also added fresh horseradish and hot sauce. Yummy! We also shared a few appetizers; crab brochettes and stuffed mushrooms were delicious, but the best of all was the Tiki Tuna. So fresh and tender and served with a nice seaweed salad. The waiter was wonderful, attentive and friendly as was the day manager. Each day offers different specials including Craft Beer Night, Ladies Night and $10 Entrees. It's location right on the beach gives you a great view as well as many tvs for your favorite sports events. The staff quickly accommodated our request for a channel change to our favorite team. On our next visit to Virginia Beach, we will be sure to stop in again for the Bloody Mary Bar and perhaps try out some of their entrees. A very nice friendly place which would also be good for families.

We enjoyed some delicious wings, burgers, fish tacos and chicken not to mention the great beer. They were offering half off specialty drafts so we were able to try some local brews. Easy walk from nearby hotels. Not fancy, great for watching sporting events on all their TVs or simply kicking back with some cold drinks and good food.

Beer and great food selection.....reminded me of Tilted Kilt as to their beer selection. Great service indoor or outdoor. Take a friend and treat them to this great place for lunch or dinner.

We came in just to try some beers on tap. Ray the bartender let us sample a few of them. Fell in love with Breckenridge's summer ale! Had the crab bruschetta.... Awesome! Definitely will go back.

Very good restaurant! The food was hot and made to order, drinks were delivered quickly. Our server was very good with our 3 year old! We will definitely eat there again!

Our waiter Christopher, was absolutely fabulous! We sat outside on the patio and could see the ocean from there. Our food was outstanding and the drinks were phenomenal!! Definitely pay them a visit if you're ever in the area! We will go back next time we visit for sure!

Menu was fun, with different combinations of tastes. The Shark sandwich will satisfy any big eater! Friendly, helpful waitstaff.

Came in to Taphouse expecting slow service as they were incredibly busy. The waitstaff was exceptional, the burger was absolutely the best one I've ever ordered out, and the view was amazing. Overall I absolutely loved 11th St Taphouse!

Frankly you go here for the beer not especially the food. They have a great variety and they are right off the beach on the Boardwalk. My wife did have their bacon wrapped scallops and she actually licked her plate with her fingers. One afternoon I had the wings and they were good. The SheCrab soup is very good as well. It can get crowded in the evening especially if you want outdoor dining. This is a great place to hang out at or grab a beer!

Fantastic beer, great happy hour and fantastic food. Best food I had at the beach. Even had the kids with us and the server was great with them! Wish we were staying longer to try more of their food!

Bartenders are real knowledgeable about their beers on tap. They pour a could mug and enjoy! Right on the boardwalk, couldn't ask for a better location. Live bands rocked it, late night food was sufficient, didn't eat a "real" meal but menu looked good. I will be back.

Love it, if you come here, order any steak and ask for Steven. Tell him you want it topped with plum sauce.... Best steak I've ever had. P.S. ask about the golden monkey if you are a beer drinker...

One night I had a drink and another day I took my "starving" son for a quick lunch while I had the chili bowl with a beer and it was outstanding! Both times the service was outstanding and the prices were not outrageous!

We've been to this restaurant/ bar many times in the last 5 years, summer and winter. this time was a little different. Seems like the food has taken a strong swing upward, with really fine dishes , good taste, and well prepared. Congratulations. I hope we can continue this turned through the summer when the crowds return. The fish special (blackened and grilled mahi) was just perfectly done, with great sides!! Good wait staff made it a wonderful meal. thanks.

love the shrimp, happy hour half apps and lots of beer. Pizza and burgers are great! Service was excellent!
