I love going to the blue box tanning salon on independent Blvd. The bed are always clean and customer service is great! Ali the general manager always has a smile when she her job. The crew is very knowledgeable when it comes to all the fun relaxing equipment that's in the spa. I do the fitwrap a few times a week and have already lost 12 in just over six's weeks! The Angel bed is my little get away!!! The cacoon is just heavenly for a sore body! I highly recommend this blue box tanning salon. But, on if your looking for a fun getaway!

TERRIBLE customer service. It's extremely unfortunate that such a top notch salon with quality beds and product allows their business to be tainted with such unpleasant employees. After multiple confrontations on a variety of issues, I'll never spend another dollar at this salon. Even after speaking to "management" (which is non existent.....no matter which number you call) multiple times, my issues were never resolved and was pretty much told to get over it. Sundays has a large presence in this area, but I firmly believe in quality customer service and as a customer we can still choose where to spend a hard earned dollar. I'd rather spend the extra money on gas traveling to another salon than supporting a business who could care less how their locations are ran or the satisfaction of their customers.
Do not sign or give your credit card to Ultimate hot tans! They are taking money from my account..four times in one week! I did not authorize. Update...Christine the owner of Ultimate Hot Tans thinks that a verbal agreement is not valid and she had the right to debit my account for which I cancelled due to financial difficulties.She also thinks that she is right for doing so...What is right about taking money from someone who clearly expressed that there was no money in account and I had stopped using her facility as well..I CLEARLY EXPRESSED TO HER IN ENGLISH NOT TO DEBIT MY ACCOUNT EVER AGAIN..SHE HAS EXPRESSED TO ME THAT SHE HAS THE RIGHT TO DO SO AND BELIEVES A COURT WILL SIDE WITH HER. So bottom line...do not sign-up with anyone that wants to debit your account monthly for their services. It can cause a lot of problems with your finances and cost more in the long-run. I did not have a problem with the tanning aspect of the business just the BAD BUSINESS CONDUCT OF THE OWNER WHO OVER-DRAFTED MY ACCOUNT AND ENDED UP COSTING MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE. BTW...does she have a license to sell used clothes at a tanning facility? I mean, does she pay taxes on the items sold? Does the City of Virginia want their share? You bet ya!!
I am the owner of Ultimate Hot Tans and want to clear up the bad review I received. First of all she did give me permission to take her $ off her card as she signed up for a 6 month tanning membership and when we had a problem with her card we sent her several postcards and finally heard from her 3 months later. I had allowed her to come in and make small payments on it every payday and I received 1 payment in March (that was 9 months ago). She still owed 4 months to fulfill her 6 month contract and that is what I finally got off her card and that is ALL that I charged her for--I could have charged her service charges for them NOT clearing every month but I didn't--so she should be happy. That is why I have a signed contract with each customer that wants to pay month to month that allows me to try the card until it goes through. So as long as you pay businesses for services that you sign up for there should be NO PROBLEMS! I just wanted to clear that up as I value my business and customers. I have been in the tanning business for 19 years now and if I did as she says to my customers I DONT think I would still be in business, I am sorry she feels I did something wrong but I clearly have a signed contract from her authorizing me to get paid for the 6 months of tanning services that she signed up for and that is ALL I did!!!
Bear Bottom Tanning is the best on both price and customer service. They offer competitive prices on their Tanning services and their tanning products. They offer all their services without a contract or automatic draft, unlike others places. They usually have a great staff, fast and friendly, policte. The environment is always clean. Prices are great and they have a great variety of lotions! NO contracts or hidden fees! I Love the place, its convenient, across down town Virginia Beach. I won't go any other place.
Great tanning services I have seen at Sundays. Such kind of services no one can provide. Me and my whole family tan from here. And we are the regular customer of it.
I really like my Sundays Blue Box tanning Resort! The employees always identify me by name and best me with a helpful grin. They are always informing me about unique offers and new items and gives best suggestions for my skin. My family also using tanning services at here and the employees all knows them!!
My experience with Sundays Blue Box has been excellent. The staff is amazing. I just don't like that they modify their staff time to time. I sometimes go to another place but I’m not satisfied with them. Sundays provided the best tanning service as well as best customer service.
The best factor about Sundays Blue Box for me, is not having to go to one position to tan. I also like that the beauty salons are always fresh and clean. I've never had to wait for a bed, so it’s saving my time also. And they always use best tanning products in fine price. And here I have seen the best customer service!!!!!
We can assure you our beds are not discussing anything with anyone - lol All jokes aside. We always appreciate comments from our customers so we can serve you better. Our staff is thoroughly trained in salon cleaning techniques as well as customer service. Our staff members are held to the highest standards. We make it a high priority to ensure our facility is impeccable at all times. We do not recall ever seeing or hearing of a roach. However, we have experienced the occasional water bug - which we quickly dispose of after all of our screaming, spraying, stomping, and slapping with a broom stops.
