Carlos and his team did an amazing job on my floors. I had them do wood in the living room and tiles in the bathrooms. The work looks very clean and I'm very happy with it. The first two contractors took way to long to get back to me and once I began with Athens the whole process moved smoothly. Great job and great service!

Coastal Floors Renovations

We bought new laminate floor last month and scheduled with some with a good reviews local company to be installed on last week, but nobody appeared on the day of work had to be started with that morning notice to reschedule, so we decided to hire coastal floors for that job because after first talk by phone coastal floor guy came same night to check the all floor conditions, so next day we started already installation, 2 days of big job got finished. We didn't expect that any one ight come the next day after call to get that finished. I appreciate coastal floors manager Coss was so quick.

This is the second time I have used this company. I had new solid hard wood floors installed in the formal living room and dining room along with having my eat in kitchen and utility room refinished which was installed by JB Courtney 14 years ago. They arrive on time and are very professional. They communicated the process to me clearly and I was surprised that I did not experience the "saw dust disaster" that many others experience. They work VERY clean and I would hire them again!

True craftsmanship, not what you see on HGTV. Unfortunately some customers who do you not understand what quality is can deface/slander a company. If you want true workmanship I recommend strongly.

Unethical! Stay Away!CBH has been the worst contractor we have done business with in Virginia Beach. He resurfaced and installed wood floors in July of 2012. The job was supposed to be 2 days and took 4 days. CBH was contracted to do an oil base stain then switched to a water based stain without our permission. They had already started the first application so we had no option but to proceed. CBH was supposed to come back and finish some repair work and touch up on areas that were not completed. The work was average at best. We are now a year later and the floors are still not completed. The worst part of the situation is Charles Herman will not return calls or follow up. He would set schedules for people to show up and it would never happen. We have left over 20 messages in the last month (June 2013) alone!! He refuses to follow up. The only time we got hold of him is when we did star 67 with a blocked number. The man is unethical and I would never recommend doing business with him or his company. He should not be in business due to his total lack of customer service and support. Please do not use his services or you will face a similar situation!! Stay away!

This company is awful. If you want a company that steals items from your home, ruins your $1500 dinning room table by putting the boxes of hardwood floor panels and sliding it across your table, was lied too about your home key being in a lock box to find out there was never a lock box and random people were in charge of the key and a contractor that only showed his face twice in 2 months, then hire them. The floors were installed improperly and i've been trying to contact Charles Herman the contractor to fix them but he's been avoiding my phone calls. I would not recommend this guy to my worst enemy. He takes advantage of you and is a total scum bag. His prices may be reasonable but in the end you get what you pay for. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I want to give this company zero stars but I can't proceed without doing so.

HORRIFIC SERVICE!!!

Horrific customer service! My husband and I had an appointment with them to give us an estimate to fix our stairs, which happened to be on the day when the hurricane Sandy hit. We understood that they were not able to make it even though they never called or emailed us telling us so. I called then back and left four messages trying to reschedule, and my husband tried tree or four times. We finally contacted another company who actually wanted and valued out business.
