THIS WAS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I EVER GO TO KINGS GRANT EXXON. My electric cooling fan engaged when I first started my Jeep in the morning. This shouldn't happen. The fan should only engage when the coolant reaches about 200 degrees. The indicator light lit up on my dashboard. I took my Jeep up to the Exxon, I explained to them what happened and I would like a cost to fix it. I also told them it was probably just the sensor. A couple of hours later a mechanic called and said it would cost approx. $800.00 to fix my Jeep. I told him that was a outrageous price, don't fix it, I will pick up my Jeep in a little while. When I got there and asked for my key they said I had to pay $90.00 for a diagnostic charge. They never told me that it would cost $90.00 for a Diagnostic charge. So I paid the $90.00 in order to get my keys back from them. I went to Auto Zone and Auto Zone plugged their computer into my Jeep computer and said my cooling sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. Auto Zone didn't charge me for the diagnostic service. They told me the part will cost $15.00. I bought the part, went home and installed it. It took me 10 minutes to change out the sensor. My Jeep is running great and the indicator light is off.
I attempted to exchange a valid lottery scratch-off ticket and the employee's (name withheld for now) conduct was so disgraceful, the Virginia Lottery's Security Office offered to take action. Further my complaint to the compoany via their on-line comment page has been ignored.
I have to say, I love this store! Regina Rios is the night manager, she goes out of her way to help everyone. I was homeless and she allowed me to stay warm in the store when it was cold or snowing outside.I would always buy something of course, but it was her that helped pull me out of my own head. I have to say that if it was not for her I would still be depressed, but now I have a good a job. And that's all thanks to her.Because of Mrs. Regina my life has changed, I just wanted to say Regina Rios is my guardian angel!!!! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for everthing.

Cape Henry Citgo on Shore drive has demonstrated many times their amazing customer care, they will not nickel and dime you, super fast and will go above and beyond to help their neighboors, Jim was so kind and fast at fixing my issue, this place is a very hard to find jewel were you feel like a mechanic really has your back and is not just trying to make extra money...thank you very much Jim and everyone at cape henry citgo for being amazing !!
Purchased 2 "VIP Cards" from VIP Promotions Inc which contained multiple discounts and free services at Cape Henry Citgo.I brought my Truck in for a VA State inspection, and it required some work to pass. I also had a brake flush and transmission flush done. I was charged $36 for 3 light bulbs. They did not replace the light bulbs. I returned to the station and told them the daytime running light and license plate light were still out. They brought the truck in, and shortly returned it to me. The daytime running light was STILL out. I confronted the manager and he said that Chevy Suburbans only had one daytime running light. I called bs, and had the mechanic replace the correct bulb.After the service my transmission started slipping between 2nd and 3rd gear. I checked my transmission fluid, and it was barely registering on the dipstick. It took a full quart. Upon to return at Cape Henry Citgo the manager went out to check the fluid. He first mistakenly checked my oil dipstick, and after i pointed out where the transmission dipstick was he checked it. He saw it was low and said "The machine didn't fill it up enough." I pursued a refund from the VIP Promotions card company, but they said "All Sales Final". The total lack of quality assurance and integrity I experience will keep me from ever visiting Cape Henry Citgo again.
My transmission went out in front of this shop. So it was easy enough to push the car into the parking lot and have them replace it. It took 3 weeks! Then I found out later when I began having power steering issues that they installed it improperly. They crushed a power steering hose and failed to secure a mounting bracket for the rack and pinion causing it to become loose. I will never return to this shop or recommend them.
