The parking was not explained prior to arriving and only vaguely done upon arrival. The staff were disorganized and LACK customer service. It was just a strangely unpleasant experience. I certainly will not be returning. Very demanding on the amount of tip THEY feel is appropriate.

If you want a crappy manicure/pedicure and then get badgered to leave a tip for their crappy service then this is your place but seriously DO NOT go here for anything! I purchased a Groupon and I really wish that I would have done my research first! This place is not what I was expecting, when I walked in everyone seemed to be confused as to why I was there and what I needed even after I told them I was there for my appointment. I had a difficult time communicating with the employees because no one could really speak English. They were playing a movie on their TV but it was the bootleg version with Chinese subtitles. I was supposed to receive a manicure with shellac polish and a custom pedicure with paraffin but what I got was a crappy polish change that is now chipping away after only a few days. I had previously been told that I had to pay $2 for the taxes Groupon didn't charge so when I gave the girl my card she then asked for a tip, REALLY! I couldn't express my frustration because no one could understand me. Just do yourself a favor and save your time and money and DO NOT go here!
DON'T DO IT! I spent $45 for a Groupon (Shellac nails and pedicure). The nail Tech took 1.5 hours on my nails alone because the Polish kept bubbling and she kept taking it off. After she was done with my nails I was done with them. I told them I didn't have time for the pedicure. They proceed to check me out stating their is a 2 dollar tax with Groupon and I needed to add a tip. I told him $5.00. The nail Tech then stated "No $10.00". I replied "No, you just spent a hour and a half painting my nails, you cut my finger and my other finger is raw from wiping acetone on it 15 times". Needless to say I will not be going back. I wasted money because I didn't get the pedicure. However, I rather lose the money than dealing with that foolishness any longer.
I am highly disappointed! I called 4:22pm on 10/11/2016 to make an appointment for a couples massage. The appointment was made for 10/12/2016 @ 11:00 am. My husband and I arrived early for our appointment as was told that we would have to wait until 1:00pm to receive our massages because there wasn't any one there to do them. I told them that we couldn't wait that long because we were traveling back to Maryland afterwards. Then they said that we had missed our appointment yesterday. I showed them my phone which clearly verified the time and date that I called to make the appointment. I called at 4:22 pm yesterday to schedule a 60 minute couples massage at 11:00 am this morning. How could i have missed my appointment? Long story short, it was an anniversary gift that I wanted to give my husband since he had never experienced a professional massage. I regret ever calling there. It ruined my day and ruined my anniversary gift!!!!
We just moved here from Richmond and I am very picky about my nails. Went here on Saturday and saw Sophia. She put me on a new full set of pink & white. They look great!! They are a very clean shop, they take out a new pair of clippers for each client. Sophia was very nice and did a wonderful job. Also very reasonably priced. She took off my old acrylic set and put on a fresh new set of pink/white with tips...only $57 This will be my nail shop of choice from now on.
I love this gem! Make sure to make an appointment in advance. The services are outstanding, it is def worth a drive due to the attention to detail and the cleanliness (which is super important to me). I have no worries, like I would at some other nail salons, that the utensils were dirty or that the job would be sloppy. The place is also beautiful and relaxing. Their price is decent. Have no reason to go anywhere else.
We just moved to Virginia Beach from New York, and honestly I was not expecting to find anything close to the spas I'm used to going in NY. And then I came across Elite on Google and decided to give it a try, because the pictures looked gorgeous. Let me just cut it to the chase and say that I was blown away by the quality of the work, the customer service and the spa itself. It was so relaxing enjoying my pedicure with a glass of wine while using the complimentary wi-fi on my Ipad. I have become their customer for life!
I have been here twice and both were amazing experiences! They give excellent massages with their mani and pedis. Even my eyebrow wax was great. My shellac lasted 3 weeks!
Hands down the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had. I normally don't like to post bad reviews but I know I wasted my money there and wouldn't want anyone else to do the same. They didn't use sanitary instruments and it seemed generally dirty and disorganized. Their gel manicure was $40 and they told me to pick a color off a sample wheel and the one I picked they said they had but the polish they used was clearly regular nail polish but they claimed it was gel. Needless to say it kept messing up and I was there for a total of 3 and a half hours for the manicure and the pedicure. When I asked for my money back they said it was impossible and offered me a redo which was almost as bad as the first. DO NOT GO HERE!!
I went to the Wynn Nail Spa at 550 first colonial (kmart shopping center) today for a manicure and pedicure. The place is lovely with a huge chandelier in the center. John was the person who performed my services. The pedicure was very nicely done with special attention to my horrible calouses. Foot massage was quick but very nice. I didn't pay extra for the spa pedicure, so I have to say it was better than I expected. Also had a manicure which was nicely done. I like the fact that he remembered to use base coat on both finger and toenails, as well as two coats of polish and two coats top coat. It appeared that he prepared the nails well for polish. I have been to several places for nail services here in VA Beach and I will definitely return to this place. Note to the owner, the piped in music was very nice (kenny G style). The other workers who were not performing services were playing music/videos on their phones and their music was distracting to me. You should ask them to use headphones or leave the service areas to not disturb the clients. Additionally, there were a couple of towels on the floor which the non-working employees walked past a couple of times, which should be picked up and put into a hamper. I hope that this 2 month old salon will continue to offer excellent services and work out the minor kinks. I will definitely return.
