        Little Shop of Wonders

        Haars is SO much more than a health food store! It also carries many gourmet and European foods and treats. I am German & Austrian and LOVE the German specialty grocery items, the Austrian jams & honeys, the marzipan and chocolates from Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, the European cookies, and much, much more. An amazing place to relive my childhood, when my parents brought yummy things from the German butcher's gourmet imported grocery shelves. I take the 45-min trip from the Avalon area gladly. Prices are great, the staff is helpful and friendly and it's a wonderful experience every time.
