Ed's Auto Service

On August 9, 2014, after visiting with my sister for a few days in Sea Isle City, I was on my way home to southwest Virginia with my daughter and two young granddaughters. A few miles outside of Elmer NJ on Rt. 40, we stopped at a WaWa (which incidentally had no public restrooms, really?) and when we went to leave, our vehicle would not start…..we tried everything but I figured it was the starter that went….I asked around and called around for a mechanic but evidently we were in the middle of nowhere and no one knew of a mechanic who was local. My son found a couple in the next town which was about 15 or so miles away. I called Ed’s Auto Service and spoke with Bill. He said if I could get my vehicle there, he would take a look at it. After two hours of waiting, the tow truck finally showed up. By this time it was 1:30 p.m. and Bill usually closed at 2 p.m. but he said that he would wait for us.



Bill determined that it was indeed the starter and got one from a NAPA store not far away. Within a couple of hours we were able to head on home. Bill was a life saver, very professional, courteous and an awesome mechanic….Thank you so much Bill, we all really appreciated all of your efforts.
