Sumo Japanese Steakhouse

We went there for the 1st time to celebrate our 24th Wedding Anniversary, there was only two of us, it was on a Monday night. They sit us with two woman and their three children, on one side there are 4 chairs on the each end there is two chairs. they tried sitting us next to the children(the woman) were on the end. the problem was that one of the kids was in a high chair and instead of moving one of the chairs they just pushed them together, the kid beside me was almost in my lap, so we said something to the greeter who seated us and she said that there was nothing we could do, so we asked if we could move to the two empty seats on the end, she said yes, but we would have to move if someone else comes in, first of all I didn't understand that because I felt that if we were there we should have been able to pick our seats, just like the ladies with the 3 kids, so someone else did come in and she asked us to move and we said "no", so they ended up sitting this "big" guy and his teenage son there and the son was beside me and that poor man had to deal with that kid pretty much being in his lap the whole time, of course I wanted to leave, but my husband was like we already here, we will talk to the manager afterwards, I'm just saying when you spend $60.00 for two meals you should be comfortable and they should care more about pleasing the customer instead of the bottom line. The food wasn't that great either. we did talk to the manager and all she kept saying was she was sorry, well I work in customer service at my job and if I treated customers the way they treated us that night I wouldn't have a job very long. it should always be about making the customer happy.

First time there was great, chef did a great show and interacted with guest, last 3 times NO showmanship and NO guest interaction. In my opinion that is part of what your paying for.

Awesome fresh tasty sushi & sashimi. My wife look forward to our trips there. Never had a bad experience. Hibachi is great too, but we love the sushi so much that we usually just sit at the sushi bar and watch the chef make it and order a fried rice on the side with hot green tea and sometimes hot saki.

Honey and i went there 4 our 1st yr anniversery 2day..the sushi was excellent and the hibachi food was good too..honey didn't like it 2 much because he's not a veggie eater..but he sucked it up and just let me enjoy like a true gentlemen...all in all..good food..hibachi chefs were entertain'n and again..the sushi is excellent..will be getting my sushi from there from now on...would have give'n them 5 stars but because my honey didn't really enjoy it..i bumped it down 1..atleast he enjoyed some..lol.. :-)

They have some of the most amazing sushi!! I'd always been afraid to try it until had it there and now I can't get enough! And the hibachi is delicious!! Not only is it some of the best I'd had but the chefs are so funny!!

Love this place. The hibachi is a great experience and fun for the family and the sushi is very very good. Would recommend this to anyone.

I love the sushi there. It tastes very fresh and you have lots of options. If you don't find your favorite item they'll be happy to make it for you.
