I had a terrible experience at this Clothes Mentor and with owner Patricia Perich! After receiving no call or warning, my clothes were THROWN IN THE TRASH! I dropped off my clothes and when I went to pick them, they couldn't find them. Associate said, the owner would call me. I asked if there was a time period and was told ten days, but not to worry because they have kept items for as long as a month before and they give warning calls. I never received a call after my ten days was up. Later that night I received a call from the store associate that the owner donated my clothes after the 10th day. I told her to have the owner give me a call, so I could try to pick up my stuff from the organization.Keep in mind, I went to pick up my clothes on the 12th day, not the 30th. I was two days off and I wasn’t even aware of the policy. I know I signed a slip when I dropped off my items, but in all honesty, I didn’t read it nor know anyone that really does. Plus, the store associate didn’t mention it even though it was my first time selling with them. Patricia Perich, the owner, gives me a call to let me know that she didn’t even donate them but threw them in the dumpster on the 11th day. Even though my shoes weren’t in style enough for Clothes Mentor, at least I could have felt a little better knowing at least a homeless person could have a new pair of shoes on there feet. Not to mention a few year dated Coach ones! It was more work for her to throw out my clothes, than just giving me a simple call. I hope everyone knows what a selfish and rude decision Patricia Perich made when she maliciously threw out my belongings instead of showing any human courtesy and just giving them a call. She choose not to think of anyone besides her self when choosing not to donate perfectly suitable clothing to those in need. I will never go to another Clothes Mentor again, I will share my terrible experience with everyone I know and let them know what a rude person Patricia Perich is.

Very slow and rude Customer service experience and store manager is very unprofessional avoid this store if possible long long waiting lines
I have shopped at the Villa Park Forman Mills . They are very slow cashiers always but today was ridicules, 1/2 off sale. I could not find a cart and there were 2 lines formed all the way to the back of the store. I found some great things but after 2 hours in line ( still lined up to the woman's department I put my purchase down and left. so disappointed, what good is having great deals if you can't even purchase them. The store needs more cashiers and they need to be trained better. I have never wrote a review before. I just feel the owners should be made aware the they lose business when you cannot check out in a timely fashion. People were just leaving without purchasing anything! Such a shame. I don't think I will ever use the store again. To slow at the registers ALWAYS, not just when having a sale.
Took in a number of items, 8 of which were brand new. All items met the criteria on the website. After being processed, was told that none if the items had a high enough resale value . They never even offered $1.00. A huge waste of time, effort a d gas!Found it is better to donate the items to a resale shop and tax the deduction on your taxes.
