Meadows Regional Medical Center is a 122-bed JCAHO accredited facility providing acute and long-term patient care. The medical center, located in Vidalia, Ga., was established in 1963 on 22 acres of land donated by A.H. Meadows, the son of Dr. John M. Meadows, who was the first physician in Toombs County. Meadows Regional Medical Center is a nonprofit community hospital with new facilities and growing expansion of its medical community and additions to its services, Its extensive range of services include critical care, maternity and pediatrics, internal medicine, cardiology, pulmonology, sleep medicine and cardiac catherterization, as well as 24-hour emergency care.
