I was sent to Dr Verma. I had expected to see Dr Verma but saw the nurse practioner instead. I should have been asked first if first was ok.I liked her cant say if she is generally well versed or not. For my condition she seemed ok.
I was supposed to get an ultrasound and did not because of work schedual. They sent me right over to get it. I went through registration just to find out I could not have ultrasound because of drinking coffee! blew it off and called them a couple months later because I was off work in victoria and had not ate or drank anything. The lady was nice and said come get the order. When I got there the woman at the desk was stressed looking. She told me I would have to see the doc (i managed to keep from saying, i never saw him to begin with). I explained the orders were there and she was actually angry looking because I wasnt turned away. So stupid seeing a "doc" to get orders for an ultrasound I never got! Plus if they were concerned why didnt someone ever call me! I dont care how busy they are, thats not my problem, they shouldnt take on more customers then managable. Im going to call today because I know they have my results. If I get crap from them Im getting another gastro I had already used Dr Chinea sp? for a colonospony and had a much better experience.

I was sent to Dr Verma for a colonoscopy .Office staff was prompt and friendly. Dr Verma's knowledge made my visit smooth and understandable.

My mother, father, siblings, husband and myself all see Dr. Verma. My parents saw him first and highly recommended him. My father was diagnosed with colon cancer and Dr. Verma is the one that found it. He has seen another gastroenterologist that did not catch it. Thank God the neighbor told my parents about Dr. Verma and his skills. My father was diagnosed and had surgery all in the same week. He is doing well. I keep Dr. Verma in my prayers every night because he gave us our father for hopefully many years. He is our angel. I highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a compassionate physician. You never have to wait long and the staff is awesome with a family atmosphere. My family physician also only sends his patients to Dr. Verma so that also makes me feel like I'm in good hands. I wouldn't see anyone else.

My family Physician said that Dr Verma is the best Gastroenterologist in this area. I called to make an appt & was seen the next week by Dr Verma. Dr Verma is very down to earth & took the time to answer my questions. Asked me again at the end of the appt. if I had any other questions. Dr Verma & staff genuinely cares. Then 1 of his staff comes in to review what I need to do. Then sets up my next appt. From the time I arrived to the time I leave all of Dr Verma's staff asked me if I'm ok, if there's anything they can do for me. They made me feel like family. I even received follow up calls about medication & test results. Was emailed regarding up coming appts. Thanks to Dr Verma, Jolynn & the rest of the staff my health is 100% again. I've only been a patient of Dr. Verma for a short time and from the beginning Dr Verma and his ENTIRE medical staff have been very knowledgeable, very kind, and very upfront toward my family and I. Dr. Verma and his ENTIRE STAFF always make you feel like your special and your health is all that matters. Dr Verma has been my Dr for 2 1/2 years. He and his staff have been wonderful thru out my whole treatment. He has always been available to me whenever I needed him going so far as to call me in the evenings at home to check on me. HIs staff have gone out of their way to accomodate me. Right before I started my treatment I was transfered 4 hours away, Dr V offered to find and transfer me to a Dr closer to where I live I refused and instead chose to drive 8hrs round trip because of the wonderful care he and his staff had given me. While I was in the hospital both times he was there for me daily to update me and my family. I have and would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Verma was my mothers specialist and he was the most honest and verbal doctor that treated her. I have always appreciated the fact that he went above and beyond when it came to the care of my mother. He and his staff were very comforting and very compassionate and never would I think that I would have such a close family type relationship with Dr. Verma and his staff. There were times that he would come in from out of town just to see her and would not let the day end without presenting himself to us at the hospital. My mother thought the world of Dr. Verma and whenever he treated her in the office or in the hospital, he and his staff always made it pleasant and we never encountered any problems or distress. Dr. Verma stuck by my mothers side, and I will always be grateful for all the love and concern that he showed to her, my brothers and myself.

Dr. D Verma is very personable but has little regard for office patients. He prefers to do procedures only. If you want to see him in the office you must request to see him in advance and his office staff does not tell you this otherwise you get stuck seeing a poorly trained nurse practitioner with a bad attitude. If you do request to see him be prepared for the disgruntled office staff. The office staff is rude and does not take messages or return phone calls or emails in a timely manner if at all. He is only in his office for a short time each morning and he never returns phone calls. If you are unlucky enough to be admitted to the hospital he doesn't make hospital rounds daily and if he does grace you with his presence he is constantly on the phone. He also does not follow through with what his plans are for the patient. He tells the patient one thing and then never informs them of changes in their care. If you want to speak with him before being discharged good luck because it will not happen. If you call his office with a problem rarely will you get to speak with anyone with an actual license and they don't return phone calls or emails preferring to dump patients to the local ER where you absolutely will not get to speak to him even if he is in the hospital and his office staff has sent you there. His nurse practitioner has a very limited knowledge and if you questioner her be prepared to be dismissed from the practice. She is rude with an attitude. He is very personable but unavailable for anything other than procedures where he doesn't speak with the patient or family afterwards and chances are you will not see him for your follow up appointment which you may have to wait months for.
