Waiting to the last minute for a haircut from my regular barber before leaving on a trip to Washington state, I found myself simply out of luck. I needed a haircut - my barber was in Miami at a baseball game.Searching for a place open on Sunday, I found the Hair Cuttery at Vero Mall. Lucky me, I even found an online coupon providing a discount for the first-time customer. Polite and courteous staff - only a five minute wait before I was in Gabriella's chair getting my wash and cut. Knowing I had a coupon - which probably cut into her portion of the fee - Gabriella set about cutting my hair, even trimming my mustache and eyebrows upon request and direction. No issue or problems - Gabriella cut my hair right the first time. Shop is conveniently located in the Vero Mall on U.S. 1. Plenty of parking and easy to find location. I will keep Gabriella in mind next time I'm in a pinch and need a "back-up" hair stylist.William E. Lewis, Jr.Vero Beach, Florida.
I scheduled a highlight low light and hair cut with Florinda, it cost 270 for what she called a partial, I was willing to pay it because I was going out of town to meet up with high school friends I have not seen in 20 years! when i got home and tried to style it, the highlights were pure white, it looked like grey hair, not the honey blonde i wanted and i had huge round blobs of white at my temples, she says where the foils slipped, also she took ten minutes to cut my hair, now i have a lot of hair and no one has ever cut it in under 30 minutes, when i styled it, it was two layers one short and one long with a big gap in the middle, she also stated that whoever cut my hair last did not do a good job at all, well.. it was Kim, the owner, who cut it last, anyway kim said she would fix it as I was not comfortable with Florinda touching my hair again, I went in first to have the cut fixed, and Kim stated that a stylist should never ever use thinning shears on my curly hair, but hahahaha that is exactly what she did when she cut my hair previously. I did not say anything at that point as my highlights still needed to be corrected, I made another appointment for that at 9 am, as I have to work, I tried the doors and they were locked, I waited until 5 minutes after nine and still no one, Very very disappointed with this salons level of service. I would recommend you steer very clear of this very unprofessional place, as now I am out all that money as they refuse to return some of it to me for the terrible highlights.
I’m new to this area and have already had one bad experience with a nationally known chain. I desperately needed highlights and decided to try Xi Hair Salon. What a pleasant surprise - CC is an expert! She knew exactly what I needed and her cheerful personality added to a great experience!

Horrible Horrible salon ... Overprice for every service I got. My pedi was 20mins for 30$ whhaaatt?? My kids pedi was 20$ .. my 2 week was 30$ for her soaking my nails in cold water and then applying the polish ... NOTHING ELSE.. no wonder the place was empty and they were sitting around doing each other's nails. Very unprofessional... don't waste your time or money!!! There's plenty of other places in town!!
Tried to ask a question they were extremely short with me and rude will not be back . I am sure it was the manager.

Horrible! THE TALL SKINNY GUY! HORRIBLE! gave me a pedicure in 15 minutes! he pretended to do my cuticles, and massaged my legs fast and sloppy in 3 minutes , and polished all over my skin
Worst experience I have ever had at a "professional salon". Never have I been to a salon where I was told if I wanted a drink to go to the convenience store and get one. Also, the owner acts like it's an inconvenience to reschedule an appt, let alone call a potential client back. Absolutely will never return. Far better salons in Vero Beach!
I made an appointment 4 weeks in advance, as I was moving to the area. I called to reschedule, as a hurricane was due to hit the area on that day. The receptionist did nothing at all to help me reschedule in a timely manner. I will take my business elsewhere!
