I ALWAYS have trouble with someone cutting my hair right . I have straight blonde hair that every body messes up. I went and had Mike as my barber ... After he cut it i had so many compliments. Been going there for a year now and are extremely happy. PS the guy with the pony tail is not there anymore..

The worst haircut I have ever had was by the man with a pony tail in the first chair. I asked for a light trim and got a scalping, but on one side - the left was shorter than I wanted, but normal while the left the sideburn was cut even with the top of my ear. It is over 2 weeks and I still do not have enough to get another haircut to fix it. Additionally the man in the next chair was scalped by a woman who I did not even realize was his barber since she was talking on the phone with the Walmart pharmacy. He left with a bang while just left knowing I would never return even though there are other barbers

Since I moved back to the treasure coast a couple of years ago, i have searched long and hard to find a barber shop that knows how to cut a quality high & tight flattop. I stumbled on the Silver Clipper. I stopped looking from then on. The shop is small, but it is huge in character. Bob, the boss man, runs an excellent shop. This shop is NOT for the sensitive or the faint of heart. This shop is NOT a place for stylists or beauticians. It is a MAN's shop. The decor is entertaining and displays a lot of neat stuff, (although I am still trying to figure out what's the deal with the hornets nest?) Along with Bob are Ralph, Ginelle, Mark and Billy, all of whom are straight shooters and great barbers. Most places will tell you that flattops are a pain in the rear to cut but I would advise you not to ask these guys if that is so. That is all they do, old school cuts. The banter between the staff, mixed with the classic rock playing subtly in the background make for an enjoyable time, (think Barber Shop meets Gran Torino), and they take the extra time to make their work above the average, so do NOT go here if you are looking for an in-and-out kind of barber shop. I was also impressed with the way they treat their elderly clients. Twice I have watched one of them walk them to their car and make sure everyone else got out of the way. You just don't see that anywhere much these days. I was also thankful for the way Ralph fixed my flattop for my wedding. He took extra time to make sure it was as flat and squared away as possible. So, if you are a military man, veteran or active, a cop, firefighter, or just a guy who likes a flattop, high & tight, high fade, low fade or just likes to look professional and clean, this is the place for you. I have had my hair cut by some of the finest barbers in the Marine Corps, but they would be hard pressed to keep up with Bob or Ralph for sure. Oh, and don't ask stupid questions...
