Dog Kidz Country Daycare & Boarding

My Wife and I would not recommend this boarding and daycare business to anyone. STAY AWAY. They lack communication, and admit they lack communication regarding dogs who attend their boarding and daycare. An issue resulted one day with our dog at daycare, and we were not notified by phone, and were surprised to find an issue had occurred when we picked up our 5 year old lab. The business should have called us, kept us more informed. We would not be comfortable bringing our dog to this boarding place due to this unprofessionalism and lack of communication.

I have been taking my dogs to this facility for 2 years now and they NEVER came back with ANY injuries. The owner, Sandra, is a total dog person and I can't imagine her ever allowing any dogs to get injured or to hurt one of them. They have three different areas for dogie daycare and separate them by size and activity level. Within the first few weeks they (on their own) figured out that my girl (45 lbs) actually did better with the smaller dogs, so it was obvious to us that they watched how the dogs interacted together and found the right place for each one.



Interesting that the 2 negative reviews came at about the same time 2 employees left working at the business....sounds like disgruntled employees to me.



I recommend that before you take your dogs there, drop in unannounced like we did. I'm sure you will find them to be very accommodating, maybe you will see my Max and Chloe while you are there.

I have taken my dog here since I moved to Florida this summer.

He loves it. The staff are all great. My dog is 8+ years old and a bit shy and reserved with other dogs. They know what he likes, and that he starts the day just hanging out inside and taking a snooze. He then gets energized and enjoys the outside sunshine. I have boarded my dog also and he has always been well taken care of. The hours are great for those of us who work. I know my little dog is well cared for when he stays at Dog Kidz. The prices are great and they offer full or half days for Daycare. They get a 5 star rating from me and my dog.

I would highly recommend Dogkidz, we have been taking our dogs there for 4 yrs.

We board them sometimes for a weekend ,sometimes for a week, occasionally for daycare just to see their friends and play.They are always taken very good care of. We have Never had an incident of injury or illness. The only thing are dogs come home with is a need of a nap from playing so hard,

When we drop them off they go straight back to the room they know they belong in...

They doesn't tell me they are mistreated,or scared, Just ready for fun !

Very nice place- geared toward animals, not people. My dog is a mixture of a scaredy girl with aggression towards other dogs. She was well cared for, had extra ball time and I would not hesitate to bring her there again if I need. Thank you!

Our older dog loves going to DogKidz and I never worry about boarding her there because she is so well taken care of. We have left her there for two or more weeks when traveling out of the country. I can check on her via the video cameras on the website or through email. Sandra and her friendly staff take excellent care of all the dogs and let me know how her visit was. Over the years I have used many different boarding kennels and I find this one to be the one my dog likes best!

Dog Kidz is a wonderful doggy day care and boarding facility. I have three dogs and have taken them for doggy day care and have had them boarded there for up to 7 days. The staff is friendly and my dogs were always safe and happy! I highly recommend them!

Barkley loved going to Dog Kidz, even the bus when he was pick up at the house! We've known Sandra for over 6 years and I recommend DK to anyone that needs to board their pet.

Also not sure what the bad reviews are about - we have used Dog Kidz several times, and we LOVE it! Our first experience was when we moved to Vero last year from out of state, and due to closing issues we weren t able to move into our house right away. Our temporary lodging didn t allow dogs, and after searching the area, we were directed to Dog Kidz. They went above and beyond and made the whole process amazing - our dogs were there for almost two weeks and we missed them terribly. The staff told us to come out any time and play - we would visit almost daily and take our dogs to the dog park on the property and play and play! It made me sad to leave the dogs, but so happy knowing they were well cared for.



We love Dog Kidz, we love the little report cards they get when they stay, and we love how excited they get when we pull in the driveway. We'll definitly keep boarding our kiddos with them!

No idea what those unhappy with this place mean. So much better than a kennel. We took our beloved pets there often and found it unique, wonderful for them and friendly for us. The caring nature of the people is always evident. The very fact that our dogs loved it when they arrived there is about the best recommendation we know.

Never ever bring your pet here if you really care about your animal!!!!! The positive reviews are factious, and put on here by the owner, NOT actual customers! The owner is a vulture who cares nothing for your animal! Only your money counts and you will be graded on your income without your knowledge. You have been warned!

Bogie loves to come here. He sleeps a lot the following day. I know that he had a fun time here at Dog Kidz Country Day Care!!

My animals love being here and I am very confident when I drop them off that they will have all fun and be well taken care of.
