The owner is a little intimidating and should tone down his demeanor. There are many good restaurants i Vero Beach.

My family always enjoys the Vero Beach Olive Garden, so when we were planning for a 32 person family dinner this restaurant was our first choice. The service was perfect and our server, Shaylin, was on her ‘A-game’. Our dinner lasted close to three hours and there was no feeling of being rushed at any time. Whether we come in as a family of four or a family of 32, our Vero Beach Olive Garden takes great care of us.
It was my wife’s birthday and we had 12 family members. We called ahead and were seated, in a very busy restaurant, when we arrived. The only thing better than the food was the service we had from Hunter and Dominic.
Had 82nd birthday dinner for mom last night,Frank was our server, great food, service and atmosphere,Great night
Owner operated, Giordano’s Deli is in a very small strip center on the edge of U.S. 1 and 21st Street, near downtown Vero Beach. Drive too fast toward the curve and you will miss this place entirely. I’ve eaten here over a dozen times in the last year and have always enjoyed 5-star service. While I've tried several different subs and hoagies, my favorite is the “Italian Special.” A sub roll stuffed with Provolone cheese, ham, capicola, pepperoni, Genoa salami, with lettuce and tomato, onion, hot peppers, seasoning, oil, and vinegar. While I’ve had this sub both toasted and cold. my preference leans toward the cold.Seeking a vegetarian substitute? The special today was a marinated portabella mushroom with fresh spinach, sundried tomatoes, fresh basil, and feta cheese. Served toasted, it’s a great addition to the menu for those seeking a vegetarian option. I’m not a vegetarian, so I will stick with the “mainline” Italian sandwiches and meals. Interesting taste and nothing wrong with the sub - I’m just more of a meat and potatoes man.Eat in or take it to go. Gardens salads, lunch platters and even dessert. Catering offered as well. Cash or check for your payment – no credit cards accepted. A few tables inside – a few more outside. A comfortable place to relax for a quick meal.Giordano’s is a clean establishment with friendly and polite staff. Like I said earlier, it’s owner operated, so you have that “Mom and Pop” type atmosphere. They share a parking lot with a nail salon and Sushi place. Just be careful how you exit as varying traffic patterns exist ride outside the deli.William E. Lewis Jr.Vero Beach, Florida.
I'm a former member of about 4 yrs. The reason that I left was simple, too busy, all to often had to skip exercises because of sitters on the machines, who talk to someone else or take too long to complete their sets. Secondly, too many who use the cardio equipment talk too loudly to their friend on the equipment beside them, or talk on cell phones. I had to wear bose headphones to block them out. The price is right, but too busy, and I went during the day. Cannot imagine the nighttime crowds. Staff was good, clean, water bottle holders on most machines, and plenty of paper towels to wipe down after use.Just to make sure, I left as it was too busy and did not care for the users misuse of the gym.
The problem, as I see it with the JC, is ownership and poor mgt. They don't seem to really care about the members, just how they wish to run the club. The latest shift in the equipment rooms clearly illustrate this. Now the machines are so bunched up there is often little to no room to get from machine to machine. I was trying to use one of the legs machines, and in order to change the sit location, I had to put my butt in the face of the person using the machine next to it. The music is often so loud that I have to pump up my earplugs to drown it out, which of course is bad for my own personal hearing. Since new changeover, it is crazy going form one Mac, to another without having to sneak one's way across the floor The smith machines are so close to the wall that my knees hit when doing bench presses, so I have to change the bench around, if there is one, and of course lack of room to shift it without putting it on end. No one, and this is more users fault, seem to take weights off the machines when done, but of course no employee ever goes around to straighten up, at least that I've seen. There is lots of equipment at the gym, but it is too cramped up, better to rid the gym of some of the least used stuff and create a better atmosphere. Heck, I seem to leave the gym more stressed out than when I entered. I don't use the pool, classes, courts, or food service so I cannot comment. Seems to me that the club spends more time tryng to get new members rather than asking the one's there how to improve.
Very clean, staff is nice and equipment is great. Love that it is open 24 hours. I get a a wonderful workout there and enjoy the atmosphere.
Wonderful facility. A large variety of classes for everyone. Staff is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Although some equipment is old they work just fine - if you know how to use them!!!!! I love it there and wouldn't go anywhere else!!!
I've given this restaurant several chances. Not only did the server mess up my 80 year-old mother's Birthday cake, but totally forgot about our party. Next time we went the server was excellent but we had to sit next to the kitchen. Fair quasi-Italian food at a high price. No thanks
