Awesome bar with a hometown feel. Great atmosphere, drinks and very clean. Non smoking bar is a plus. Wide range of drinks. Crowd was a nice mixture of young and middle age folks. A hidden gem and a must. As a vero native I appreciate the old hometown Vero feel.
worst service ever!!!! The people ignored me the whole time and they served a man that couldn't even walk straight even after they were asked not to. They care more about making money then a persons safety! The guy even passed out after the drink they served him. if the owner is reading this...I hope you fire the idiots that were working tonight! 09/07/2014, because you as the owner are liable for your employees serving people who are far past drunk. I have a feeling the cops are gonna be involved in this one.
The first time I came here was at noon on a Sunday the last week of the regular NFL season. There were 8 people sitting at the bar. I believe the restaraunt has 9-10 TVs and the NFL ticket (the ONLY reason I stopped in). I asked if they'd put the Jets game on. Again, I showed up an hour before the game and there were more TVs than customers. they would not put my game on bc the Jets weren't "playoff bound" even though I offered to watch in the corner of the completely empty restaraunt. they said I could wait til 1:30 pm and if no one cared then I could have my game. So I, a person that cared enough about my team to show an hour early to get a tv, could wait 1.5 hours and miss 30 min in hopes 9 other random fans didn't show. ok. I went to another bar and ran into another Jets fan/Customer who'd also been turned away by Brewgrrs. the next time I went was maybe 9 months later. at 8 pm on a SATURDAY night, we walked into the full bar, but we're turned away without service. The bartender said "We're closed, can't you read?" apparently outside the unlocked front door of a full bar early on a weekend night, was written "closed" on a chalkboard we'd fail to see. Why were they closed (despite all evidence to the contrary btw) may you ask? After a food festival on the beach Brewgrrs got "too busy" and so they closed. oh ok.
I love this new neighborhood pub, it's clean, comfortable and has the atmosphere of "Cheers", great prices and great selection of beer, wine and coolers, soda and coffee also available. Open Mic, Live music on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. Owners Jim & Liz are "good people".
