Overall
I will drive extra miles to go other store

I don't want to suffer to buy a copy paper. So, I prefer to drive extra miles to go other store. I had been using Staples for my business supply. I think, the tech guys (computer and peripheral device dept.) are very helpful.

However,

- The store manager cares more about the layout of the store instead of solving a problem with a customer.

- The cash register personals are not very well trained to maneuver the cash register. So when they encounter a problem, they just transfer it to their customer service.

- The customer service personals blame each other for their mistakes and blame a customer if they can not correct it.

- inaccurate sale price and need to update price data more often in order to avoid confusion/refund request.

- No cash register is available (all 'closed', most of the time), which induces a long line at the customer service's cash register (only one open in the entire store).



I don't expect everybody to be perfect but Staples at Vernon, CT do need to have professional customer service training to their personnel's. It seems like they (workers at Staple @ Vernon) don't like each other and they are always in bad mood. Please start with 'company ethics'. Not matter if you are a part-time worker or a store manager, as long as you are wearing the Staples uniform, you are representing Staples.
