The Port Clinton location lost its pristine cleanliness and looks more like a camp ground shelter; food, napkins and plastic utensils on the floor and the bathroom was filthy, we tried it three times with no improvement. So, we thought this new store would be great, well the building was ok but the perch was so over cooked it was like eating a rubber tire. Going back to the New Shoreline Fish in Sandusky, never had a bad meal.
went to Vermilion to see the Clydesdales and was told Woodstock was a nice place to eat. I wouldn't know. After waiting for over an hour and inquiring several times, we never did get any food. We only ordered sandwiches and there were only two tables inside that were occupied. I was told the patio was busy and a host of other excuses as to why we did not get out food in a timely manner. When I asked for the manager, he informed me that the service was even worse on Third Thursdays when there is music through out the town. Really??? Nice to know. Needless to say, I do not intend to go back to the Woodstock on "any" day of the week. I highly recommend The Moosehead on route 58. We got excellenct service there.
This place is ok and is a regular joint for the regulars of the town. Bone in wings are good and the best part of the place. My girlfriend's father is cheap and takes us here so that's why I gave this an ok rate. Atmosphere needs some work.
