We had a coupon for a free Hungry howie's medium pizza. It was our first time here, we were enamored with the choice of flavored crusts. We opted for the garlic+herb flavored crust and topped it with pineapple and jalapeno. The pizza was delicious.I don't think we will be eating here often considering the price, $13 for a medium pizza with 2 toppings :(
Yesterday they had a $10 large pizza promotion. We ordered a large pizza with jalapeno, portobello mushrooms and green pepper. But the killer sauce was their garlic dip for the pizza.. yuuuuummmy. I also ordered half a portion of spicy buffalo wings, it was great. One of the only restaurants open on a Christmas day!
Great tire prices and clean install I would use again for all my service and parts! Very friendly place!
As someone who lived during the 50's, they've done a great job capturing the atmosphere of the time. The food was certainly good; so was the service. The one suggestion I'd make to them about their sodas: they could be great if they added some milk and whipped cream in the mix. I've been there before, and plan on going back. (And I'm not a local in the area.)
AWESOME been going since 1999!
I went to Toppers in Ventura today, I ordered two sandwiches for my wife and I : we were both very disappointing. We order pizza from this place about every two weeks and the pizzas are great. This is the reason we went into try the hot so called sandwich. I will never order that stuff again. The meatball sub was very bland and tasted like it was days old. The spicy Italian was no better hardly any meat and plastic cheese. Both were horrible don't not order anything but pizza from toppers in Ventura.YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111
I've been to BBC Triumph three times over the years and will not do business with him again. I'm sure Tom does reasonable work on British motorcycles, however he's rude, arrogant and insulting. On one occasion I came in to inquire about parts and service for my Trident. I was wearing one of my Triumph hats and he said: "Do you actually own a Triumph or do you just own a hat?" The next time I rode my T160 in to buy parts and he made several rude and incorrect remarks about the model, stating that it was actually a BSA. If he isn't familiar with the history of the Trident, it makes me wonder what else he doesn't know about British motorcycles.Lastly after I bought my 2001 Triumph Bonneville and went there with a friend, he was once again rude. He berated my motorcycle, claiming it was a fraud and wasn't really British, even though it was designed and built by Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. in Hinckley, Leicestershire in England. BBC has a good reputation for quality and detailed work, and I have in fact recommended friends to BBC, however Tom's people and customer service skills need improvement. I sincerely hope he figures this out someday so his business will do well...
Staff was friendly but the "owner" (so she called herself) didn't just offer, she proved and pushed the worst service I have ever seen in my life. Having years of experience in the restaurant field you are supposed to leave menus at the table the customers are sitting at (not at the table across from them). If you are going to smash and kill flies one should make sure to wipe up all the spray. The happy hour menus all seemed to be missing at least one page (since none of the three we looked at matched). When you order drinks the server should bring them to the table not leave them at the bar (after minutes of frustration) causing the customers to walk across the entire (empty) restaurant to pick them up. Those of us who ordered tea were not offered any option of sweetener simply a big thing with a label tapped to it (apparently the "owner" doesn't know that is a great way to pass around germs). No wonder the place was dead they didn't have one real server just someone with major serving incompetence trying to save their minimum wage change. Oh and who asks a customer for their id twice and continues in failed attempts to egg on an argument? 21st century grandma and this is why you treat people with respect, especially customers!Almost forgot about the seating, if you have a bad back don't even waste your time!
Landmark restaurant. Their salads are just perfect. Not a classic italian restaurant though. There will be some waiting but the restaurant is good, so the 10-20 minute wating does not bother me coz all the staff are keep moving. I have been to places where there is a wait coz the staff is just sleepy-indifferent. Not her, manager seems to be on top of everything.
Pizza sauce is thiner than water, I asked for extra sauce and I got extra grease, the sauce soaked in on the thin crust pizza so not much of a pizza more like a dry tomato cracker. Paid 50€ for more sauce to get home and find out its like water too no spice or flavor where's the Catchup because I don't eat sandpaper
