This place is very difficult to assign how many stars to rate it. The staff and management are some of the finest you could ask for. The rooms are nice and well equipped for personal needs.. As far as facility and staff it deserves more than 5 stars. But unfortunately you have to eat while you reside here. This is where you wish you could rate ZERO STARS. Here the chef and managements hands are not only tied but amputated. In my research over the years, it appears the owners of the facility signed a contract with a subpar food distributor that I believe they own as well. No reputable hospital or nursing facility would ever sign a contract for food. Only in a free market world can you get competitive bids for the highest quality of food,Instead here you get powdered eggs, powdered or dehydrated potatoes and at least 5-7 meals a week you would expect in a POW camp. There are great purveyors in the area that have excellent quality and service many hospitals and care facilities. Here are owners who put "profit ahead of people". So if you have a love one you are contemplating about putting here, my recommendation is give them extra money for delivered food or take them out for meals several times a week.If the owners ever came here and ate every meal they served for one week, the quality and selection would change in a nanosecond.
