we bought one of our kids an ipad mini on Black Friday from The deal on the Tablet included a gift card, to effectively lower the price. Skip to Christmas day - Almost immediately out of the box, the tablet started fading to purple and back again. OK, box it up and take it to the local Target. They were willing to exchange it, however wanted to give us the current price on the tablet, which was $50 more than what we had paid. We ended up exchanging the tablet through the manufacturer, which took more time and trouble. Later, when we complained, we got an e-mail from telling us that we shouldn't expect Target to honor the original deal if we were going to "exchange" the tablet. I guess its a pretty good racket if Target can sell defective merchandise and charge customers extra to exchange it for something that works
