I traveled from Detroit to be tattooed by Rev. Wells. I had read about him in a couple mags and found him on myspace. The drive was crazy but worth it. Rev says he knocks down the price for travelling clients and he gets alott. He told me about some girls from Virginia and Indiana and Florida and a dude from Buffalo that he tattoos. I stayed at a hotel up the road that was basic but pretty nice. The studio is warm and inviting. Candles and a very clean tattoo room made the smell above and beyond any tattoo experience I've had anywhere. The atmosphere was quiet and calm and the one on one experience with Rev without the usual tattoo shop antics going on was so comforting. We we able to really get in a zone and relax and do a cool tattoo. Rev offered me drinks and snacks for free instead of from some crappy half out of stock vending machine or the grocery next door like a lot of shops have. My tattoo was done amazingly well. All custom and much of it completely improvized right on the skin. The tattoo healed better and quicker than any work I've had done elsewhere. I'm 27 years old and have been getting tattooed for almost 10 years and this was the best experience I've ever had. I will be coming back in 2 months to add on to the piece we started. I wish I had more free space to let Rev just go crazy on me and do whatever he wants. GO TO THIS GUY HE RULES!
