Pawnshops: 10 Things to Know »
Most people think of pawn stores as a way to make cash quickly or a place to buy an inexpensive ring. In reality, they're a lot more complex than simple buy-and-sell transactions…
I just got my weddings rings back from Tim Barlow. I took them in because they were out of shape and in need of cleaning and repair. I love that he does repairs in house as I do not want my jewelry sent out. He is a true craftsman with affordable rates. My rings look like they are new again. This is the 2nd time he has repaired my ring. The first time was 16 years ago so clearly he does quality work. I also like supporting local businesses. He has been part of our community for many years now in the same location.
Very nice people. We have done alot of bussines with them. And looking to do much more. We have bought safe, a bike and rings. :)
This place blows. I was shopping for a watch and they where very rude. They didn't even acknowledge that i was there for ever. not to mention the worker tried to rip me off. I am never shopping there again. Go to tropics they where very helpful!
I have never been so mistreated at a business. I was told my ring would take 7 days to be resized. After not getting a call on the 7th day.. I waited until the next day (Monday), I was then told my ring wasn't expected in until Wednesday.. Ok then no call on Wednesday. I call again, they acted like I was rude for checking, "the paper clearly states that your ring isn't due back until tomorrow (Thursday)". Now I'm pissed. Thursday makes 12 days. I called today (Thursday), my ring still isn't in "ups hasn't delivered today" was her reply. It's 4pm! I want my wedding ring! We will NEVER use this company again. It's lack of communication and rudeness is beyond me..
I had the unfortante experience of needing to get my wedding ring cut off my finger. They did it in a matter of seconds, it was painless and they were super nice about it. Also the wonderful jeweler sized my wedding ring (not easy when it's a continuous patterned ring) seamlessly matching the pattern and two tone gold. I also had them size my engagement ring up and the whole shebang cost under $100 bucks for custom sizing. I was pretty damn impressed, this jeweler knows his business. The review about selling diamonds & gold is worthless, this isn't a pawn shop or a diamond dealer, he's a real jewelr with real talent and professionalism. This is some place you want to go to get your favorite jewelry customized, fixed, or revamped.
