Bought our Passat here, and have had maintenance and repairs done by them throughout the years. Russ (our salesman) no longer works there, and our last sales experience ended up with no sale (I will spare the details). Over the years their service team has gone downhill, the last 2 times my wife has brought in the car she has been overcharged for what should have been just an oil change. She ended up paying close to a grand for a faulty sensor and thermostat, which would have cost me a few hundred from a VW specialty repair shop. They have also under filled the oil twice, which I checked immediately afterwards. Needless to say, we are done with Hannah VW.
Greg Foumal was great! He was very helpful in the process of buying a car. He listened to what I needed and didn't try to force things on me that I wasn't looking for. He made buying a car a good experience, which is something I was not expecting. I would highly recommend Greg to anybody who is looking to buy a car.
When negotiating the deal on my 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagon I told Josh Naumcheff that he had 30 minutes to make me a deal (I had to pick my son up from a school event. Within 25 minutes he was shaking my hand congratulating me on my purchase. Very friendly and professional gentleman to work with. I came back 2 days later and got one for my son. This is the man to see if you want a good deal.

My salesman was Greg Foumal. He was very helpful in pointing out options for different cars, which helped me decide on the Jetta SE. Greg made the experience very fast, quick and easy. He also added that personal touch, which was nice. I would recommend Greg Foumal to anyone who was looking to purchase a new or used car.

My sister Kara and I, initially went into Dick Hannah Subaru to potentially purchase a 2012 Subaru WRX (for my sister), but received such horrible service that we ended up going to Volkswagen to look at their VW GTI and TDI models. It was there where we were assisted by Scotty, who assisted us tremendously.
Although we didn't walk out of there with a Volkswagen GTI or TDI, Scotty was able to assist my sister with her original and ideal purchase, and we drove away in her brand new 2012 Subaru WRX from the Subaru dealership.
It is this exemplary service of sales personnel like Scotty at the Volkswagen dealership that will ensure my recommendation, loyalty and return to see him for my future purchases. Thank you for going above and beyond for us.

These reviews are fake. They have HORRIBLE service and RUDE sales staff. They damaged my car installing the clear cover protector-which they improperly installed THREE times-and never offered to compensate or fix the damages. Also, when I was in the process of purchasing this vehicle, the sales manager talked down to me, yelled at me, and was more than just rude. I wish I would have walked out the door. NEVER BUY A CAR OR SERVICE IT WITH DICK HANNAH. The name is what it means.
I would like to recognize Heather at Vancouver Dick Hanna VW. Heather worked her heart out for me and i so appreciated her person centered approach. Even though I was unable to get the car that I wanted, it was through no fault of Heather. In fact, rather than look elsewhere, I intend to wait until another Dick Hanna EOS opportunity presents itself. Heather was gracious, hard working and totally commited to helping me. She is a role model for selling behaviors and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to work with her.

Arrived at Dealership and was met by Sales Consultant. Who asked, may I help you find something? I showed him the car ad they had updated on Dec. 8, 2011, which I had printed out that day. He took it and walked away, saying he would be back. I walked over the entire exterior of the dealership looking at almost every car, before I went inside. I found the sales consultant inside and he says. I'm sorry that vehicle is in the shop getting repaired. It's a new vehicle they had listed that morning, why is it in the shop? I ask him if I can see another 2011, and test drive one. He proceeds to tell me they have no other 2011 vehicles and I tell him there are at least 5 more that I saw on your website. He goes away and disappears for another 10 minutes and comes back with three keys and says we do have more.
He doesn't even know the inventory on the lot. He then tries to sell me some other car, when I came here for this particular car. He goes away for another 10 minutes and brings out his ""Team Leader"" Who basically does nothing; except brings me the car fax, which took forever. However, he did offer an apology for taking so long. Printer jammed...everything out of their mouth was an excuse for taking so long. For a NEW CAR in Service!
This sales team spent more time in their office or behind their doors than they did trying to make a sale. I felt ignored, and that my business didn't matter.
I left the business wondering why did I ever bother coming to Dick Hannah for a purchase; Good Deals perhaps, but the way I was treated I won't be back.
I'll take my $20k cash I have saved for a car and go elsewhere. And now everytime I open up a VW AD and I see their name, I hit the back button.

I was not looking for a car when I stopped by the showroom, but Heather was wonderful - showing me some new options on cars that were hard to pass up.
She made sure I got a great deal, and held my hand all thru the paperwork process.

I had never bought a car before and Heather at Dick Hannah Volkswagen made it a wonderful experience. She had a nac for finding the perfect car for us. I feel like she really listened to what we wanted. I never felt like she was pushing the sale. She wanted to find us the best car in our price range that met all our needs. She was funny and made spending the whole afternoon buying car a great time. Thanks for giving us such genuine customer service.
I had a great purchase experience with my sales lady Heather James. I purchase a used Jetta and I must say she is very curtious and friendly and Knows what she is selling down to the last detail.. She did her best to make sure I was confortable with the whole purchasing experience. I would highly recommend Dick Hanna VW and Heather James to anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle.
In March of this year I got an idea to buy a new car and the Volkswagons were top on my list. I have owned almost every kind of car out there and had heard such good things that a trip to Dick Hannah was on my agenda.
Upon arrival I was met by an awesome ,energetic man named Travis Levitt. He explained to me all about the VW Jetta TDI and I was impressed that throughout my buying experience at the dealership Travis was the only one I worked with. I don't like being handed off to someone else. We talked through the financing and when I was ready to take owership of my new car Travis was there.
My experience with Dick Hannah was by far the best I have ever had. I usually buy a new car every 2 years and I'm afraid that VW has lost future sales from me because I love the car so much that I will probable keep it for a long time. I get 45-48 mpg and an awesome ride.The sales staff and the maintance group are second to none. The whole experience was good.
By the way Travis...Gary and I will be back in February or March to buy not one but 2 new cars for a new business we are starting. You can bet I'll look you up for a salesman cause I don't want to work with anyone else. YOU ARE THE BEST TRAVIS!!!

I have bought 5 cars in my day and hands down my experience at Dick Hannah VW was the best. That is all thanks to my sales person, Cort Bailiff. Cort went above and beyond taking calls with all my questions, looking up facts on the car for me, showing me the Carfax and helping me understand the pros and cons of my certified pre-owned convertible Eos. Once I bought the car, the customer service did not stop there. Cort had the car detailed at no cost and even called around to find the spare key that went with the car because I did not get it on the purchase date. Still to this day, every time I come in for service, Cort makes me feel right at home. He always asks if I could use a drink, makes sure I don't have any remaining questions and puts me at ease. I am in sales so I know that a good, honest, sales person who knows customer service and building a loyal customer base... those kind of sales people are hard to come by. Cort is just one of them! He truly has a good heart and is looking out for your best interest and works hard to make the process enjoyable.

I can say without any hesitation this was by far the worst dealership experience I have EVER had in my life.
After finally coming to an agreement on a lease with VW of America on a new Passat, things got flagrantly bad.
First, during final paperwork it was made very clear, no, CRYSTAL clear, that we could ONLY make the purchase if we bought an extended warranty from their company. Now make no mistake, it is NEVER required by a lender, especially VW of America, that you have to buy the warranty to make the deal.
Second, the dealership flat out LIED when they told my wife and I that VW of America does NOT sell extended warranties for their new vehicles. This sounded fishy, but considering they told me I had to buy their extended warranty from the company that they use. I contacted VW of America the next day and verified that VW does in fact sell extended warranties, you just have to go to a different dealership because Dick Hannah VW is not authorized to sell them.
Third, after have the car for two days, they contacted us back and said unless we came up with another $4800 (yes, four thousand eight-hundred) then we could not keep the car. This was on a lease mind you. We told them we would not give them any more money from what we already gave them so they demanded the car back. My wife asked them if they could sell us something else, even a used car, and they said no.
Fourth, we brought the car back, signed paperwork saying it was returned and left. No exaggeration, they treated my wife like absolute garbage. They ignored her and acted like she was tainted by some disease or something. We ended up going straight to Dick Hannah Kia to see if someone there would work with us since I assumed that another Hannah dealership could work with us since they have such a large inventory and wouldn't need to pull all of our paperwork again and we really wanted a newer vehicle. By the way, please see my Dick Hannah Kia review as they were absolutely INCREDIBLE in work with us right away with complete professionalism and genuine kindness.
Fifth, when we went to Dick Hannah Kia, and I am not joking, VW tried for several days to completely refuse to turn our down payment over to Kia even though it's owned by the same company! Not joking, they REFUSED to turn our down payment over to Kia.
Sixth, two days after we returned the Passat, Alex from VW called and said we damaged the car and needed to pay to repair it. Guess how much the repair was? Remember the down payment they refused to turn over to Kia? That's right, they wanted EXACTLY the same amount of money to repair the so-called damage from the Passat we turned in! We told them we'd be there right away to inspect. Upon arrival, Alex showed us the car and there was some obvious damage to the front of the car, but the funny part is when I looked at the odometer there was 12 miles added to the car since we turned it in. We asked them where they drove the car and Alex had the gall to say it was ""only"" driven to be detailed which is literally about 300 yards away. Of course, the paperwork that we signed when returning the vehicle showed no such damage to the car. More on that in a moment.
Seventh, Kia needed some release paperwork from VW (both owned by Dick Hannah) but VW told Kia they couldn't have the paperwork. So my wife went back to VW and demanded the papers, of course VW tried saying it would take two days for it, but she didn't give up. They then started playing silly games with her, like telling her to go to the finance office to get the papers where the lights conveniently turned off on her way there (only one door to the room) and my wife refused to leave until miraculously the lights turned back on and someone was in there... When they have my wife the release papers, no joking, someone had tried crossing out dates and other important information to alter the paperwork.

My 2001 VW GTI gave up the ghost on a Thursday afternoon, and it wasn't long before I and my family realized we couldn't live without a car for much longer... I found the perfect 2007 Jetta on Dick Hannah VW's website, and had a friend drive me there specifically to see and, hopefully, purchase it. In a matter of a couple hours, Mark Muzzy (actual last name) had me driving home in the Jetta of my dreams, AND with the interest rate of my dreams thru my preferred lender. I was impressed. Mark was relentless in his pursuit of the best deal for me, on the car I wanted, in the cramped timeframe I had. Go see Muzzy.

We were a super special case of owing way to much on a car that was falling apart. Heather (and Mike) took care of us! We were in and out in a day! They found me the car I didnt know I would love! Heather was great and patient with me and my Im not picky, pickyness! lol We have a 10 month old daughter and she was great with allowing us to move and transfer the car seat from one car to another to ensure it fit properly! This is now the second car we have purchased from DH Volkswagen and although I will never own another VW, Heather and the dealership were super great!
