Long story short. I go there to get my first ecig. Not knowing to much about them. I have there employee fill my ecig. Well she fills it with the wrong product, a product not meant to be used in an ecig. Which in return causes damage to the new ecig I just purchased. I go to return it and I'm told they can't return. At both locations (Mill Plain and Fourth plain) reminding them that it was there employee that did this. but yet I'm still denied an exchange or refund so now I'm stuck with this ecig that doesn't work the way it should. I will never ever shop or recommend this branch of stores to anyone. They horrible period.

DONT EVER BUY FROM THEM! To begin with I bought a bong from the store on Christmas Eve. Gave it away as a present. The next day two of the four perks came off. Just plopped off from setting it down not even that hard! So I went back to the store and talked to the employee.Just explained what happend and that I don't want my money back, I just want a credit towards another. It Doesn't even have to be the full credit . I just wanted them to work with me so I can give a working bong back to my boyfriend. And I was willing to spend more money. After talking and trying to get somewhere with Mona, the owner, finally said she'd be willing to take a look and see what she could do. We made an appointment to meet at 2 the next day. I drove from portland to Vancouver to meet her and she wasn't there. The employee called her and she said something came up and that they weren't going to do anything about it. Also, if the employee tried calling her back she would ignore the calls. THIS IS JUST WRONG. on the phone they were rude to begin with and didn't even want to listen to what happend. They came up with every excuse not to return it. And the best part is that they tell their employees not to let people know when they come in. The employee apparently had no idea when or around what time Mona will come back in. She said she was out of town. I called another shop afterwards..both owned by the same person, and they said something completely different. She was in town. She would be coming into that store later. I'm not dealing with them. I don't care to get my money back or give them any more money. I JUST REGRET GOING THERE. I wish I could show people how they treated me. it was rude, disrespectful, and embarrassing. I just want to warn all of you. Don't give them your money, you'll regret it. GO TO ANY OTHER SHOP. Stay far away from the house of smoke chain. They're stuff is overpriced, and their customer service is by far the worst I've ever seen. Never have I walked out of a store in tears because of how bad I was treated. Every wrap ever I've ever bought there was stale, no refunds, no exchanges. Their products are cycled between the stores that are all family owned. With no regulation, they treat their customers like garbage, and get away with selling non-functioning products. It is up to us to stop giving money to people like this.

I recently found this shop by chance while needing cigarettes, I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly atmosphere and high quality products. Upon closer inspection I realized that on average, they are 10-20 percent cheaper than most shops I've seen. In addition, the staff is always personable and eager to answer any question I may have. I was educated pretty heavily on the e-cigs, which are apparently getting very popular, and he has the best e-cig flavors I've tasted. )And they're not all created equal!) the owner of this shop is devoted to his business and providing the best customer service. That, coupled with the low priced very high quality glass, makes me a customer for life to someone who constantly proves they want to earn my business.
This is, hands down, the worst establishment I have EVER been in. The owner and all of the employees are some of the rudest people I have ever met. I used to shop there a lot, and I would stomach the poor customer service because I lived close to them and it was convenient, but no more. The other day I was in there and a customer tried to return a faulty piece of equipment and the employee behind the counter gave a bogus reason for why they wouldn't take it back, and on top of that, she asked the guy "can't you read?". She insulted his intelligence several times during that conversation and that is just ONE of MANY instances of this I have seen. Please don't go there. They represent everything that is wrong with that industry. They act more like drug dealers than store owners. Please, people. Don't let them get away with this. It wasn't just the employee's fault. The owner encourages this kind of behavior. They don't care about anything but taking people's money, and once they have it, you'll never get it back. They say they take returns, but that is a down-right LIE! Everyone I know says the same thing, and the person below me who posted the good review was very likely either someone who works there or a friend of the owner who wants it to seem like they run a legit business. Tell everyone you know not to go here. They are terrible, terrible people.
This place is amazing, they have the biggest selection and the best quality products. I use to go to MJs but once I found this place with better pricing, better customer service.. I will never return to that path of getting over charged.
