I have had nothing but good experiences having lunch and dinner here. Typically, I have the wood grilled steak saladwith romaine, roasted red peppers, onion rings and bleu cheese. The burgers are solid as well, and they have a vast wine selection. It is on the more expensive side, although it is one of the best spots Vancouver has to offer.
I love going to Applebee's for happy hour because of their good prices on their appetizers. The only reason I gave them four stars on food is because they often change their menu and remove some of the favorites on there ... like their cheeseburger sliders. I can't figure out why they do that. But as far as their employees and atmosphere go, it's a very nice dining experience! Make sure you have their oriental chicken salad. It's one of their signature entrees, and it's the best!
This restaurant is NOT a place where a person with food allergies can even think about going. The manager said they wouldn't change their gloves, and was quite rude.
The food here is pretty good, at least for breakfast. We had egg dishes - the bacon is good (crispy), eggs were fine, potatoes a little bland. Our server was very nice and accommodating. We didn't love that they make you wait for your entire party to arrive, but it worked out. Hard to get a table fast during busy times.
came into Black bear for the first time.. found it clean and was looking forward to a great meal since checking online what they had to offer. came in gave my name and waited to be seated. 2 people were ahead of me and when 1 person came in was instantly seated i was taken aback. so i went to the hostess and was told my name was blackened out and that the next table would be mine.. went back to the lobby to sit and wait and someone else came in and was seated again.. now keep in mind its about 5-10 mins each time and again went to ask the hostess a different one now was told my name was blackened out again.. and they were sorry and if i wanted to sit at the stool.. told them i wanted a sibgle table cause there were a lot there.. wasnt really busy. after waiting 15mins at my table for someone to take my order or a drink order.. i saw waiters and waitress's talking in Spanish. i flagged one down and asked if i can get a drink and order some food. soup came with the drink and then about 1/2 way down my soup my semi cold meat loaf arrived. over all i found for a place just opening up they would be more focused on customer service. The one in California was much better but was more established then this one. maybe they need more bi-lingual people then just only Spanish speaking people working there. give them a couple of weeks to get it all in gear and come back after the holidays for a meal here. shame they dont have the same level of customer service relations as their other places.
I went to Black Bear for the first time this week and was so impressed with how the service was the first week of opening!I suggest an extra side of bacon ranch because it's delicious!! I suggest everyone go and try this place out! I'll definitely be going back soon!
Always very kind. Bartender at night is cool too. Only place where they usually come to me right when I arrive for my orders to go. Just park in the designated area after you call in order. Just bought dinner. Yum:)
Best burger ever. Good beer. I love this place.
My overall opinion was good however, my waitress was horrible. Table's around me were getting service every five mins while I finished my whole dinner which was huge, and had to ask for service. not to mention I saw her in bak talking. Danielle should be fired!!!!!
Just walked out on the one on mill plain bartender inexperienced slow and rude bar wasn't busy but we still waited over 10 minutes and still couldn't get a beer planed on eating lunch but walked out I wouldn't take a stray dog to that place and will never be back!!!! Plan on telling everyone I come across to never go there and I'm being nice on this forum
