Nonstop Auto has moved, right around the corner, to 14700 Lull Street, Van Nuys, CA! See my review of this outstanding auto repair shop in the newer listing, #66 in the keyword "auto" search results!
This review is long overdue! I recently bought a pathfinder from California auto wrecking and it was a great deal ,they didn't (and never have since…
Had such a great experience purchasing our vehicle from here. Great salespeople that are the right amount of pushy without being annoying. Once the deal is done they are great with follow up questions regarding all the bells and whistles with your car!
There is no mechanic quite so wonderful as Stanley Norwoods, especially if you are a woman. I dislike having to put that out there, but the fact is, women most dfefinitely do get charged higher prices and are subjected to blatant fraud by many mechanics. I once put a dab of pink nail polish on an engine part that needed replacing, knowing the mechanic would show it to me. He didn't disappoint, except he showed me a part that looked nothing like the one I'd dabbed the polish onto, so of course I didn't need to look for the dab of polish. I told the mechanic I'd have to talk to my husband (I'm single), got my car back and got the hell out of there. Every mechanic I went to after that, did the same damned thing, until I told the last one that I'd marked the part, quoted him a price that a male friend had called and asked for ahead of time, and told him to fix the damned car or I'd report him to the state agency that issues his license. Got 'er done, pronto. This will NEVER happen with Stanley, Ladies. Stanley is a gentleman who looks out for and takes care of women with respect and consideration. Ladies, you will never be overcharged or lied to or ripped off by Stanley. In his old shop, the walls of the waiting room were lined with his numerous training certificates. There's nothing he doesn't know about your car; but if he is swamped with work and thinks another mechanic could do it just as well, he will refer you to that mechanic. He doesn't have a bad bone in his body. He will call you and tell you exactly what is wrong, he will spend a lot of time trying to get you the best deal by shopping around for the most inexpensive reasonably good parts if you're broke, or he will find you the best quality part at the best price, he will go to junk yards searching for parts, he will go online searching for parts, he will do the best work and never cut corners, he'll take pictures and send them to you for your approval or information, he'll let you know if he comes across another problem, and no matter what, he will always work with you for the best possible solution that gets you back on the road again asap, and he will keep you updated by phone the whole time. There have been times when he came by my home to pick up my vehicle, there have been times when he gives me a ride home after I drop off my vehicle, there was one time when he sent a mechanic to change out the starter in my truck because I couldn't afford the $50 flatbed tow by his buddy Jim (yes, really, $50 for a flatbed tow!). You will love the treatment you get, and you will begin to dread the day that Stanley retires; I know I do! Best of all, Stanley loves kitties, he takes care of strays around his shop and his home, and he loves to see pics of mine. Run, don't walk, to the shop on Lull Street in Van Nuys. You won't regret it.
I have purchased two cars from Low Price in the last 5 ½ years and both times got great service and good cars. I was hesitant at first to buy a salvaged vehicle, but then I learned how little damage has to occur for an insurance company to consider it a total loss. Hint: both times I bought, I was able to go on line and see my prospective car's auction photos -- that is, to see the damage before repair. They've been in business for something like 18 years -- how long do you think they'd last if they weren't fair?
12/28/16 I took a 2009 Chev CO LT to Keyes Chevy on Van Nuys. Employee # 475 Jerome "Jerry" Roxas checked in the truck. I explained that we have for two years taken it to two different Mechanics trying to find out why the truck will not start in the mornings. They put new batteries and checked the alternator without finding out what the issue was so this is why we were bringing it to the professionals with the computers, tools and training to find the reason why. So they have the truck I got a text saying any info needed just text them. I did not hear from them so I checked Jerome "Jerry" Roxas said he left me a message but he did not call the two numbers I gave him he called another number. But that was OK he told me that the battery was old, leaking and bad. I told him that is was not old and two other Mechanics said they tested and checked it and it was found to be good. He said that they could not do any more testing till a new battery was put in so I asked him how much was a replacement he said $290.00. OMG! that much for a battery he said yes. I told him I could get one for $50.00 to $150.00 and he said I could do whatever I wanted too but for them to go on they needed a new battery. My Mechanic that we use knows them and I asked if he could come pop one in Jerome "Jerry" Roxas said NO! I asked if we bring one to you can you put it in. He said NO! I asked can I check out the truck and put it in and check it back in. he said yes but he would charge me $145.00 for the first test and $145.00 for the second. So no matter what he is trying to get his $290.00. I told him that was unfair. He said we could d whatever we wanted to do. So I went got the truck he was very upset but he did not charge the first $145.00. so on the other side of van nuys I changed the battery and went to check the truck back in. This guys gave me so much attitude. That I needed to Yell to him to say tell me if you are going to take my truck or not so we can find out what the issue was. he said that he felt we were not going to get it fixed with them or buy anything that we should get it done by the idiot Mechanics we were using. my Mechanic was standing and the parts counter that just helped me change out the battery. so I asked Jerome "Jerry" Roxas if he wanted to call my Mechanic an idiot to his face since he was right there. Jerome "Jerry" Roxas was very quite and said no. I told him that I wanted to know if he was going to check in my truck or not that if no I would take it to another dealer and I would blast him to everyone I could. He said that he would check it in but the $145.00 would be $145.00 no matter what they find if we get it repaired or not with them. I agreed. So days when by and I heard nothing. so I texted and I get a text back that they need to do more testing and now the price is up to $435.00 for this test.I tried to call the service manager to get put to Jerome "Jerry" Roxas. So I went on line to the Keyes Chevy on Van Nuys website and did a live chat with a very nice lady and gave me the service managers name and I asked her to have him call me I told her I has a truck with them in the service department and I wanted to talk to him. So the next morning I got a call from a very nice man that I explained everything to him and he said the $145.00 would stand and he was going to have his assistant Matt. help me from here. about 20 mins later Matt called said he was my new contact and I would not need to deal with Jerome "Jerry" Roxas again. so I said OK. about 3 hours later Matt called said the short was found in the radio and to replace would be $790.00 for a radio, $290.00 for the labor and $145.00 for the test. I told him I would get back to him. So I called could not get him and they put me to Jerome "Jerry" Roxas I told him I just wanted to pick up the truck and pay the $145.00

Thanks to Yusuf Fuad for deal that he got me for MKZ 2017. Not only being a professional, he is also efficient and attentive to his customer. Definitely will look for him again to get my future car(s).
Keyes has provided flawless and efficient service for my two Chevy Volts over the last three years. Pleasant, efficient and right on time with a lovely waiting area with a mini Starbucks dispenser. Service could not be any better or more pleasant. I am highly satisfied with my service rep Alicia Lynch who is always pleasant and gets the job done. I highly recommend this dealership.
I loved that i was given a ride back to work and picked up when car was ready, Thank you all so much, and Jerry Roxas was very nice and has a great personality.
