Overall
very negative cat boarding experience - use caution with this kennel!

i don't know what kind of service this kennel offers for dogs, but i would NEVER recommend it for cats. despite the fact the their website clearly states that ""cats are housed in a separate area to reduce stress"", this is absolutely not true!!! it is totally, completely false. the cats are kept in the same area where dogs are groomed and sometimes boarded - in fact, the cats are only about 4 feet away from the dog grooming area. the area was very loud and messy. when i asked the lady why the website says cats are kept separate from dogs she first denied that the website says that. after a couple more questions she said then said that ""she had not looked at the website in a while"", and she was not really sure what it said.

please take a look at the website on your own, and carefully read the page about cat boarding. look at the photos of the cat area. what you can't see in the photos are the 15 various sized cages in the same room. when i was there at least three of the cages had dogs in them. the dogs were barking and making lots of noise. the details on the website about cat boarding are completely misleading.

if you are thinking about taking your dog there, keep my experience in mind. if this kennel completely misrepresents their cat facilities, is it possible that they also misrepresent their dog facilities?

needless to say we went home with our cats and made other boarding arrangements. it's too bad we only found out the truth about this kennel on the day we were to leave on vacation, and had to scramble to make other last minute arrangements. this was a very, very negative experience.

when we went to drop off our cats, there were also dogs being boarded only a few feet away from the cats. the lady explained that these dogs were old, and so they were not able to be kept in the kennel with the younger dogs.
