Overall the experience was fine. Went there on a Wed so they were not busy at all. I decided i needed to treat myself after exams. A somewhat younger guy did my mani. He asked way too many questions and for some reason things military make $. After he finished, he left me under the nail dryer, while he went to do a pedicure. It felt like i sat there for a little while. It wasnt until i got up to go to the counter that he followed me (maybe to make sure i didnt leave w/o paying). the kicker is they charge $5 for polish and all i got was white tips! Back home polish is included. I did question him about the charge and he said polish is extra. The mani overall was looked good but when i went outside, i noticed there was still quite a bit of clear polish all around my fingers. Needless to say, i wont go back. There are too many shops around here to pick from. Guess i need to do some more research
The lady here is a good stylist, especially if you have a short style. When I visit this salon I feel I work for her instead of the other way around. I am not kissing anyones behind that I PAY to perform a service. If you have an appointment don't expect to be served immediately. Wait times can get a bit ridiculous. This shop is VERY EXPENSIVE for Valdosta. Her prices seem to change with the weather, or maybe the bills that are due! I have paid from $65-$100 for a relaxer. I guess it just depends on the day. But I continue to go because I haven't found/tried another stylist that works for me. She may be your cup of tea or she may just work your nerves, I've experienced both sides of her......BUT I KEEP GOING BACK!
When I first came here I loved this salon. I thought it was so pretty, everyone was nice, I got a discount. I would come once or twice a month. One day I went in for an eyebrow wax. I went into the room and when I came out I looked jacked up! It was the worst job on eyebrows ever! I was mad. After that I went to another salon and didn't go back there. I even heard from someone that the woman who jacked up my eyebrows wasn't even suppose to do it, and that she didn't have a license! I dont know if thats true or not, but believe me a &c nails, I told all my friends and they wont go there either so yall need to step your game up. I would never recommend this place!
I decided to give this place another shot and was very disappointed. The first time I went here, Chris did my nails and I got my toes done too and everything was fantastic. The second time, the customer service was miserable and no one could figure out how to function with Chris being gone. I came back today, and Chris was out of the country. I filled out the book and said I was there for a full set and pedicure. The pedicure was great. I sat in the seat to dry my toes and watched as walk in after walk in got their nails done ahead of me. I asked when I was going to be seen and one of the ladies said she thought I was only getting a pedicure. Ridiculous.
This business deserves a star rating of 10+, not the normal 5. These ladies are amazing, and they sure know how to cut hair. They are super friendly, and onto of your needs/wants. Kimberly cut my hair, to be exact, and I will always go back just to see her. She is the best, and couldn't ask for a better hair stylist. She does wonders! :] Anyone looking to go here, needs to ask for Kimberly! Everyone has different, hair types, tones, lengths, flat, wavy, curly. They sure know what to do with it. Prices are great. They aren't too much, and are very affordable. YALL ARE THE BEST IN TOWN. Thank you for offering your business to us all. -Kami
Today was my first day as an employee there and it was one of the worst days I've ever experienced at a new job. My first customer and his girlfriend helped me more than some of the employees there. I was laughed at while I was with my first customer and when I asked the old chinese lady sitting next to a question I was looked at like I was speaking Spanish or something and then she would say something to the guy sitting on the other side of her and look over at me and they would start laughing. That was so embarrassing and hurtful to be treated like that at ur new job on the first day.
AMAZING customer service! Service at a level you don't see very often - they need to write a book - this place is awesome! : ) And the nails were very pretty, french manicure. The lady that worked on us offered a silver line on the manicure to match the dress but we decided to just get a plain frence manicure. But, they were soo great! : ) So accomodating!! : ) Would definitely recommend! : ) This place stays pretty busy so, you'll probably be glad if you make a reservation.
This place looks nice on the inside. If you want to be serviced quickly, make an appointment or show up right when they open. I started going here to get my brows waxed(every 1-2 wks) and for awhile they were doing a good job. But lately they seemed to rush and my brows are starting to look uneven and they are noticeably shorter. I enjoy the oil leg massage that comes with the pedicures though. The prices are decent.
This company is a place you can truly call home. A place where transformations occur everyday. And the perfect place in the south to get-a-away. Wait! There's more! You can even bring the entire family. Yes, including the kids. They have made an incredible spa, salon, and studio just for kids. It is definitely worth the time to take the wife/husband and kids out for a Spa Day in beautiful Downtown Valdosta, Ga.
This is the only nail place I've been to (and I've been to tons in different states) that they don't speak in their native language. They speak english so you know they aren't talking about you. The service is great the prices are kinda high but they do a wonderful job. Chris is the nicest owner you will ever meet in a nail salon. Place is constantly busy so a appt is recommended
