Located in Utica, N.Y., the Jewish Community Center is dedicated to make a positive difference in the lives of the people in the community. It operates a preschool serves children up to five years and offers a curriculum of motor activities, dramatic play, creative art, music and water play. The Jewish Community Center maintains a fitness center that is equipped with treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, weight benches and free weights. The center operates a 14-week long program that addresses age related problems and offers strength training exercises for men and women. The Jewish Community Center also offers a variety of sports activities for children, including basketball, tee ball and dodge ball.
