Overall

I visited Fajata Republic on Feb 23rd and was very impressed with quality of food I received . I am visiting here from the Dallas/ Ft worth area and believe me , I have ate a lot of Tex Mex and no good. The Hot Sauce was the best. The flavor was blended with wonderful peppers and spices. The presentation, service were all excellent. I visited again on Feb 25 for lunch because I was so impressed. I have ate Guacamole , Fajtas, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Enchiladas, and haven't had any better from Dall/Ft worth to San Antonio. Love this place and will eat here every time I come to Michigan!

Overall
Very Disappointed - Horrible Food

I went to Fajita Republic with a friend to try a new restaurant in town. This was my first time at a Fajita Republic and will be my last. Service was good just a bit slow for drinks, but the food was not good. The tacos are tiny with hardly any topping. The Mexican rice tastes like rice cooked in pasta sauce, and the refried beans were soupy. I was especially disappointed in the tacos. The soft shells were tiny, chewy, and grainy. Not typical flour tortillas you usually get at Mexican restaurants. I expected more than a few shreds of lettuce, 6 diced tomato pieces and no cheese on top all the meat. The meat was also bland. The quesadillas come with no sides, have very little cheese, and little flavor. I expected a great Mexican restaurant and was rather disappointed. I'll stick with Mexican Village, Chili's, and a few other local mexican places.
