Overall
Just OK food with bad service

My wife and are new the Des Moines area and thought we'd try out some local places to eat. This was one of our first choices and we were no impressed. As the other reviews say, the service is terrible. You wait a while to sit down and then you wait some more for menus. Then you wait a while longer for someone to take your order. We did get our drinks before our meals, but no refills were offered. When the food came, there wasn't much on the plate and it wasn't anything special. We waited literally 25 minutes after we were done before we saw our waitress to get our bill. Then we waited another 10 minutes for the bill.



I gave it two stars because the food was OK, while the service was pretty terrible.



We probably won't go back.

TERRIBLE! Stay Away!

My entire family went here on a weekend night and after some time we began wondering whether a server had been assigned to our table. A woman finally appeared to take our orders, and our drinks finally came out WITH OUR MEAL! No one had stopped by our table at all to explain why our drinks never showed until our meal showed, which was an extremely long time. My brother got a seafood soup with rotten shrimp, and our meal wasn't very good, either, with chewy rice and cold chiken, but, as expected, no one showed AT ALL until our bill was brought to us! We all sat there in absolute SHOCK that no one had stopped by to ask how our meal was! We told the server our issues and that the soup had rotten shrimp, and she shrugged and WALKED AWAY! Needless to say, we were all flabberghasted by such unbeleivable behavior, so we told the women who stood at the cash register the same thing, and she never took any of the food off our bill, but simply told us that they were short-staffed. No one ever even so much as considered apologizing! Looking back, we shouldn't have paid for the meals that were so horrific, but we were so in shock at the time that we just paid and left. ROTTEN FOOD, EVEN MORE ROTTEN SERVICE! I have no idea how this place stays in business!
