I was so not impressed with the service here or the knowledge of the stylist. I've been natural over 8 years and I've successfully cared for my own hair and am usually hesitant to allow others to care for my hair due to previous experience from cocky stylists. I thought this would be a better experience after reading reviews but on second look I can only assume that those with a positive experience probably actually think their curls are a "problem" to be "managed". I on the other hand love my healthy, thick, tightly curled hair. First the stylist used horrible washing technique with shampoo further tangling my hair and poorly cleansing and conditioning. Then proceeded to rip the hell out of my hair with a denman brush and blow dryer without adequately or gently detangling first. I should have known better due to the fact that she obviously disliked and could not care for her own "natural" hair because of the obvious bad sew in weave she had in her hair. And her own professed use of a "lil" relaxer to help her own curls blend with weave.... All I originally wanted was a trim because I haven't trimmed my hair in a while and during our consultation she said that she would just blow dry my hair before trimming. She then proceeded to flat iron my hair. Also with poor technique in my opinion. Hopefully once I wash this mess out my curls will revert back to their original beauty and the cut won't be completely horrible. I first went here for a trim to cut off frayed ends and single strand knots after going about 1.5 years without professional trim... But after all the stress and pulling I feel like I just have additional wear and tear on my hair... Awful awful awful... So mad right now! And overpriced as hell. Which I wouldn't mind paying I the service was up to par.
I actually enjoyed my time at this hair salon! In the past, I have dreaded the long hours at local salons, with grumpy hairstylists who expressed annoyance when I broached the subject of returning to wearing my hair naturally. I have discontinued relaxing my hair for the past six months and am a…

I have been to this location several times and they always do a great job with the actual hair cut. Last time I got my hair colored and highlighted. It came out exactly like I wanted, except that they got the dye everywhere. When I got home I had dye on my forehead, ears, neck, and even a lit…
After going to a different Salon in Stone Oak , who ruined my hair to the point of my bangs breaking off. I finally decide to take a chance on this Salon for a hair cut and blow out to help the healing process. My Stylist Eric was amazing. He explained everything he was doing and really did a gr…
This is such a comfortable salon. Not only are Kim and Rebecca awesome at creating sassy hairstyles, all the staff are always warm and welcoming. Renee and April have also added to the overall spa experience by providing nail and facial services. I am particularly pleased to find that Renee is t…
A very casual, relaxed hair salon, Shag and David have enabled me to find the haircut which seems to fit me, rather than creating a look that I then have to fit into. His haircuts just ""work!"" Over the holidays, he added a blue streak to my bangs; it lasted for months. And the best part was t…

It was a pleasant experience. Leah washed and styled my hair and was very interested on how I would like it done, not how she wanted to do it. That was nice. She listened.

They are nice, they use liners for pedicures and serve wine. Now they have $22 full sets with gel. I enjoyed myself. Check out Catherine she's there in weekends but she is very good.
I LOVE Strut Salon in San Antonio! Both my sister & I recently moved to Texas from California & it has not been easy to trust our hair with just anyone! I'm familiar with the TIGI method & just had a feeling this salon could do what we wanted. I absolutely love the outcome of my ombr…
This place is amazing, clean and professional! My tech took great care of me and even let me come in before they opened. Great gel colors and awesome pedi chairs. I will definitely be back!
A great job with the Thai massage. La's is the best back walking if you like a hard massage. They have other options but if you're an athlete Thai here is the best.

First time here at asiana nails lounge. Very nice quick service. I say down to get my nails done and Cody asked what I wanted done. I told him full set with a beautiful pinkish red nail polish. He recommended the shellac and I told him no thank you. After that he became really irritated and sta…
HORRIBLE PLACE!!!! My daughter went in tonight for a spa manicure for prom tomorrow and the lady caused my daughters cuticles to BLEED! Then they had the nerve to ask, "Are you sure you didn't come I that way?". My daughter is devastated and is still bleeding. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! I wouldn't rat…

I was hesitant at first because I thought she would be expensive for a color based on her experience, awards and being self employed not working at those big salons. I instead choose visible changes. Well, they were a complete disaster. They turned my brown hair red and even after i complained they just threw a toner on and that was it. I was fed up and decided to give Rita a call. She is the nicest person I have ever met. I love her salon, just you and her in there and it's very quiet. Way more personable than those other salons. She takes all the time she needs and keeps working until it looks right. And it ended up being CHEAPER (even before the new client discount) than what I spent for the firetruck hair disaster at visible changes. She also did it so when my roots go back it wouldnt be super obvious so I could wait longer to get a touch up to save money. She was brilliant and I feel so much more confident now. I will be going back soon for a hair cut! From now on she is the only one ever allowed to touch my hair. Couldn't be happier!
I had a stylist at Medusa named Brenda and she was horrible with professionalism and does not do color very well. I showed her a picture of honey medium blonde mixed with dark blonde and she gave me copper over my partial blonde highlights. I ended up with strawberry blonde and pink streaks. She also was constantly on her phone texting and talking. While talking to the other stylist in Spanish ( I am a non-Spanish speaking customer). Brenda has a hard time accepting when the hairstyle does not go the way the customer wanted it. She denies it looks wrong and thinks it looks good, even if it is not what the customer asked for. Other stylist had also made comments about coming up with a code to talk to each other, or pig latin Spanish as a joke. I do not find this place professional and Brenda needs to find a new day job.
I apoligize to the guest who posted the previous review even though it is three years old. We recently purchased this salon and are working very hard to improve the customer service and have made significant strides to that end. We encourage all who read this to come and give us a try. We provide all types of hair care services and products weather you want a full color service or just need a trim our staff will be more than happy to provide that for you. We also do waxing and hair treatmentrs for damaged hair. YOUR STYLE AWAITS!
Once again I left with a big smile on my face after my hair appointment with Rita. I have been coming to see Rita for several years and I always get compliments on my hair. In fact, I just keep getting more and more as time goes on. Rita is meticulous with my hair color and cut and always wants to be sure it's "perfect" before I leave. I love the color so much and it even tends to highlight on its own. She knows how to do it just right and I always tell everyone it's "Thanks to Rita". Great Stylist and Great Friend!!
I've gone to this salon for years. I will get my hair done here for many years to come. The atmosphere is AMAZING! I love all the hair dressers, and the owner is so awesome! Rex at the front desk is helpful and very organized! Keith is my favorite, but I have no complaints about anyone else. If you are a dog lover, this place is for you! The owner brings his dog to work with him everyday. There is an outside area as well for relaxing that is both beautiful and tranquil. I highly recommend this place!
Okay me and my wife went in for a hair we have been looking for somewhere closer to the house to get great hair cutz. Well the gentlemen cuting my hair did a great job but the lady at the counter didnt seem to know anything. I ask her a question and she was to business on facebook to care. And the lady cuting my wifes hair seem really lazy. She ask my wife if she wanted her to shampoo her hair but looked at her like she really didnt want to. Over all i give it two starz.
My hair was cut poorly and I needed a "Miracle Worker" to try to make me presentable for a very important meeting I needed to attend. I explained by phone my problem to him to give him leeway of refusing to help me. His comforting words gave me the confidence to let him try to make some sense of my hair. Francisco worked his talent on my hair and I was relieved! The experience was more than I had expected. Well done! Thank you and I will be seeing you soon.
Due to a horrible haircut & being compensated with a human hair wig, I had the awesome experience of meeting Natalie Salas, owner. Unknowns to me, Natalie works very closely with cancer patients, styling their wigs. Now I know why she was so careful and caring with my wig which came out beautifully styled. This was my first visit & won't be the last because she even tried to correct the horrible haircut I had received & she will be working on it from now on.
Susan is the best at what she does. (20 years experience) I've been going to her for years. I had not been back in over 3 yrs I had kids and I live in the hill country. She still there and dependable. I was so happy to she had not left. I'm sobbing because I hv not treated myself in a while but Susan made me feel right at home like nothing ever changed. I let my hair grow all that time and she shaped my hair back into a fabulous due!!!! She did a fierce job.
