This is the most appalling pharmacy experience of my life. They recently did some cosmetic renovations to the pharmacy counter. Why bother to look better if you're not going to be better? The same rude people sneer at you, don't seem to realize many people they deal with actually NEED the medications their doctors have prescribed, yell at elderly and visibly ill customers... I will call and surely waste my time lodging a complaint with CVS' corporate office but it is extremely unacceptable on a consistent basis. Unfortunately my prescription insurance is Caremark so I will have to put up with the lost prescriptions (oh how many times this has happened with paper, electronic, called in and faxed RX) unless I can promptly find a decent CVS in Maryland. How I wish I could return to Rite Aid 4 miles away from this pharmacy. They answered phone calls, sent texts promptly confirming RX fulfillment and never once "lost" or rather lied and "never received" a single prescription. Insurance is a b.
Am i really the first patron to rate this god awful establishment? By god awful, i am referring to the pharmacy department. I recently came to this location only to pick up my prescription and leave, but a nightmare of an experience ensued. I had to wait over an hour for my meds to be filled, ( remind you, it was NOT busy at the time), and the pharmacy techs moved around like a 90 year old man trying to carry a muffler up a shop ladder. Techs in their early to late 20's have no reason to look so lethargic and unenthused about doing their jobs, especially in the healthcare field! The blonde with the pony tail looked at me and treated me as if she did not give a good got damn about my injury, and was completely nonchalant the entire time! They even had me get up on my crutches to bring them the paperwork from my doctor, to get my scripts. When it finally came time to pay for my medicine, i was NOT helped to my feet to get on my crutches. Dont believe me? The cameras do not lie. 8/29/2014. I actually had a customer get upset after seeing me wait so long, and she took it upon HERSELF to walk up to the counter and remind them that i was in pain, and should be taken care of before they fill other people in no obvious pain scripts! If you do not believe me, go see for yourself, as i do not have time to write reviews on how bad my experience was at a place of business, but the experience was so horrifying, that i wanted to warn other folks so that they would not have to go through what i went though, for a simple medication pickup. The experience completely ruined my day, and i feel that department is a downright utter shame..
