Highland Park Elementary School is a part of the Upper Darby School District. The school is located in Upper Darby, Pa., and serves students in grades first to five. It offers classes in English, arts and crafts, mathematics, science and technology, reading, language arts, health education and social studies. The school has a library that offers a wide collection of books, magazines, study materials and picture dictionaries to students. Its lunch menu includes chicken fingers, butter corns, bread and butter, lettuce and tomato, cheeseburger, shaker salad, hot turkey sandwich and pizzas. The schools active fund raising efforts provide additional books in the library and computers in the classroom and field trips. Highland Park Elementary School runs a volunteer program that supports computer literacy, dance club, yearbook and literacy clubs.
