Provided by CitysearchSTAY AWAY!!!! A month ago I bought a pizza from Donatos on High Street in Worthington. I used my credit card at the drive-thru window. Soon after, someone tried to type in my card number several times at a Speedway for hundreds of dollars. I've tried calling Donatos on at least three occasions and sent an email through their website about the theft. No one has called back to tell me what their investigation has produced. They are a less then reputable company with less then reputable workers. STAY AWAY!

Provided by CitysearchI'm definitely a fan of Donatos...it's an acquired taste for non-native Ohioans like me, but once you get used to it, it's great. A bit expensive, but very consistent from location to location in my experience.
Also, I have no idea how one of the reviewers below got his figures on pizza area...the formula for the area of a circle is pi x the radius squared, making the area of a 7 inch pizza approximately 38.5 sq in each, and thus two would be about 77 sq in. The area of a 14 inch pizza would be about 154 sq in. So actually, you get about twice the pizza for a few bucks more with the large.

Provided by CitysearchLast night we ordered as we usually do, this time it was 3 Big Dons and 2 Chef's salads. It cost us 32.46 we could have gotten a steak dinner for TWO at that price! Prices are going up and the food isn't . We've been customers for years, and we are very dissapointed that Donatos prices are so high. Time to give your consumers a break Donatos!! Our last pizza was cold when we got it, and we have been ordering twice a week, think we'll look somewhere else. What happened to pleasing the customer and doing your job?
We're very dissapointed..............

Provided by CitysearchOk so at Donatos you can get two 7"" small individual pizzas for around eight dollars or a large 14"" pizza for around 13 dollars. Both equal 43.96inSq of pizza. Yet by purchasing two individuals you save a difference of around five dollars. As far as buying a mediun you mine as well forget it. By odering two individuals you save about two dollars and get more pizza (approx. 6.28inSq.) Who ever disigned this menu needs to re-think it. The size and price gap just don't add up.

Provided by CitysearchWhile I find Donato's pizza to be palatable, it's never a pizza I crave. I attribute this to it being a chain. Yes, while it may have started in Columbus, a chain is a chain is a chain. Any pizza that is mass-produced across the states is going to lack in quality in comparison to those hole-in-the-wall family-operated pizza joints that every town has. It's not bad; it's just average.

Provided by CitysearchFounder Jim Grote and family are still very much involved in the day to day operations of the restaurants, and it shows! The quality of food is always high, and employees are a notch above. Still in my opinion, the best pizza on the block, as their old ads used to say. I've been to Donatos in several cities and am always pleased.

Provided by CitysearchI think Donatos is really great pizza. It is owned by Mcdonalds....but the quality is excellent, and the price is overall good.

Provided by CitysearchDonato's is the most overrated pizza in Columbus. There is absolutely NOTHING special about it, other than the odd way that it's cut. It's normal pizza, not good, not bad, just filling.

Provided by CitysearchOverall the pizza is good, but tastes very ""manufactured"" in the same way that McDonald's does, there is no originality. It is on the pricy end also, and not very filling!
