I went there today to enjoy a decent hot dog. I have been to this place a few times already. When I arrived the owner was opening up and walked into the back. When I walked into this small hole in the way establishment the owner sternly told me "I just opened" (In one of the most rude tones that communicates anger and frustration). I looked at him side ways, shocked at such poor mannerisms wondering "okay...so does that mean a bit of a wait while you get situated?". I would have had no problem waiting a few extra minutes for him to get situated and take my order. I asked what that meant and if that meant a bit of wait and he responded in that same harsh tone "I just got here, I just walked in". I said "OK" and I left.
I always try and support local small businesses and especially "struggling" businesses like this one. As a successful small business owner myself I know the importance of providing quality customer service. This place unfortunately has the worst customer service. I am surprised he has stayed in business this long and will not be surprised when it finally goes out of business. I will NEVER be returning to this establishment.

Gotta say I read the reviews and was shocked only because I have NEVER had such a horrible experience in my life! I figured I'll judge my own experience but I really wish I didn't. I come from a long history of customer service and satisfaction in my career thus far. So needless to say I expect the very best, or at least decent because I give 110% whether I'm the customer or employee.
1.) THEIR PHONE ETTIQUTTE- HORRIBLE! I CHALLENGE YOU TO CALL AND JUST ASK WHERE THEY'RE LOCATED. THEY'LL ANSWER THE PHONE WITH A JACKED UP ATTITUDE AND YELL AT YOU. THEN WHEN THEY GIVE YOU YOUR ANSWER THEY'LL SHOOT OFF THEIR ATTITUDE AND SAY "OKAY!?!!" AS IF YOU'RE BOTHERING THEM.
2.) MONEY GRUBBERS! TOOO EXPENSIVE. .. YOU WANT A GREAT HOT DOG FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST ?? COSTCO! BIGGER IS BETTER AND COSTCO HAS IT ALONG WITH EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY'RE 400 TIMES BUSIER THAN THIS POO CHAIN!

THERE ARE SEVERAL THINGS THAT I FOUND WRONG AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
1. THE HOT DOGS ARE OVER PRICED AND IF YOU DO NOT WATCH THE OWNER HE WILL CHARGE YOU DOUBLE FOR YOUR ODER. YOU ALSO HAVE TO WAIT FOR 10-15 MINUTES BEFORE HE TAKES YOUR ODER AS HE IS TOO CHEAP TO HIRE SOME HELP!!!!
2. THE OWNERS ATTITUDE TOWARD CUSTOMERS IS OUTRAGOUS!!!! TO TELL A CUSTOMER "WHAT YOU WANT?" SOUNDS VERY UNEDUCATED AND UNDIGNIFIED.
3. CAN YOU FIND A DATE SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN YOUR BUSINESS??? YES LADIES, BEWARE THE OWNER WILL TRY TO FLIRT HIS *** OFF TO GET UNDER YOUR SKIRT!!!! NOT ONLY IS HE SELLING HOT DOGS, HE IS TRYING TO PLACE HIS DOG IN YOUR BUN!!!
4. CAN YOU GET ANY CHEAPER???? PATRONS HAVE TO BEG FOR CONDIMENTS AND YOU GET A HEAFTY FEE IF YOU WANT CHEESE!! HE CHARGES PER CONDIMENT!!!! MY ADVICE BRING YOUR OWN CHEESE!!!
5. HOW MANY ESTABLISHMENTS DO NOT HAVE RESTROOMS???? IF I AM PAYING YOUR OFF THE WALL PRICES THEN I DESERVE THE RIGHT TO USE THE RESTROOM AND TO WASH AND DRY MY HANDS!!!!
SO FREDDIE IF YOU ARE READING THIS WAKE UP!!! TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH THE RESPECT THAT YOU DEMAND THAT THEY GIVE YOU OR YOU WILL END UP MAKING HOT DOGS OUT SIDE OF STAPLE CENTER ON A CART!!! ALSO REMEMBER THE MANNERS YOUR MOTHER DID TEACH YOU IN REGARDS TO WOMEN, THEY ARE NOT HERE ON EARTH JUST TO SATISFY YOUR NASTY TOUGHTS.
I dont have to put up with your crap freddy,yes your hot dogs are good but not the best.I cant wait for a nathan's hotdog stand to open in upland so they can run you out off business.your attitude run customers away and yes your favorite word i dont care and one day you will eat those words good luck to store # 2.
Come On Mr Chicago Hot Dog............$2.75 debit card fee on an $11.00 order.............. GIVE ME A BREAK. Post a sign or better yet tell us you're about to insert the hot dog in the wrong place, we'll pay cash. The best Chicago dogs ever.......not the question. They are so good I'll even put up with your attitude, but I draw the line in the sand with this one. So....... Mr. Chicago hot dog, if you want my business again, I better see a sign up the next time clearly announcing these outrageous debit card fees. You can't put enough peppers on your dogs to get me to swallow those fee's.
We wanted to try this place today. We came in at 7:45 pm which is 15 minutes before closing. First of all, we were completely ignored by the owner. He first looked up at us, then went to the kitchen without even acknowledging we were there. He then rudely asked us what we wanted then he turned around. We walked out & didn't even get to try this place. We just couldn't give business to someone who obviously didn't want it. That kind of treatment left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANYONE!
