Awful and unprofessional. Went $50 in the wrong direction then tried to get me to pay the full fare anyway. Threatened to call the police if I wouldn't pay. Tried to "cut me a deal" instead of calling dispatch to get the correct fare and tried to charge me $140 instead. Again, I refused, and again he threatened to call the police. Spent 20 minutes outside my destination arguing with the driver before he agreed to charge me the correct price. What a thief. No wonder the cab business is going down the toilet. Good riddance.
I was so shocked this morning that I could not believe my eyes. I work at Loyola University and had an early shift. I got in the drive thru window at Mcdonalds and there was a TaxiTown cab #607 in the line in front of me and another guy. At first I thought I was seeing things, but the right passenger door opened and a male, white, 6ft, blue jeans, black t shirt and drunk as a skunk emerged from the cab and went to the wall of the resale shop next door to McDonald's near Rosemont and Broadway and pissed all upside the building. There were people with family in cars in line and everything. It was disgusting. Then while in the line, there appeared to be at least 6 passengers in the CAB 607 and their order was large. They also appeared to have an argument with the cashier at the window because they became very loud. Others in the drive thru line started honking their horns and screaming and these drunk idiots decided to challenge the other drivers honking their horns to a fight....imagine being drunk and challenging sober people to fight....that is asking for a beat down. But once the other drivers started emerging from there cars and telling all the drunk occupants "bring it on...we can go right now" that is when the cab drove off. But TaxiTown, let me ask you about the cab driver....what in the hell was he thinking instigating all that b.s.?We all could have been killed. What if everybody took out a gun and started shooting? The cab driver should have called dispatch and asked for a supervisor and reported the incident but I bet you he did not. so unprofessional. If you are wondering what time this took place it was between 0335 and 0348 hours in the wee hours of the morning. Damn ya,ll suck.
Very dependable. The only taxi service that I call. They go above and beyond to accommodate their clients.
In Chicago for business and took Globe Taxi (cab# 0091, driver# 45153) from O'Hare to N. Dearborn. Fare was $44.50 plus $5 extra fee (I have no idea what the fee entails). I tried to pay with a credit card but had trouble with the chip. Driver became irate when he thought I was not going to give him a tip. He supposedly cancelled the transaction and I ran my card again with a $10 tip; I only received one receipt for the latter transaction. Both the $50 and $60 transactions were charged to my account. Tried to call customer service with no response; pursuing fraudulent activity with my bank. I would recommend avoiding this company.
Beware Taxi driver so rude and have a bad attitude. No. 424 tx. Paking in font of him to drop my gf he yell at her and honking horn that he need to move even he has no customer yet.
***100% Authentic Review***AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!Chose this company based on good reviews, but it seems like the "good reviews" must have been written by the owner and his friends. I needed a cab to take me and my girlfriend from Tinley Park to Midway Airport at 3:30am. I called the day prior to book a pickup, and a man answered by asking if I was looking for Midway Suburban Taxi or Obrien's Taxi. I said I called the number for Midway Suburban and just need an early ride to the airport. He said he preferred early morning pickups, and everything seemed fine. I also called later that day to confirm the pickup, and it seemed like everything was all set. Well the day of the pickup at 3:30am there was no taxi, and my girlfriend and I are standing in the driveway waiting for a ride. I call the same number to see whats going on, and the guy on the phone sounds upset but assures me he can have a pickup there in 20 minutes. Not willing to gamble missing our flight on another potential no-show, we drove ourselves to the airport, and had to park in the main garage to make our flight on time. Our 5 day trip will cost about $200 extra in airport parking fees because these guys can't keep their word or fix their mistakes, and it was just an overall awful way to start a vacation. Listen to the other "positive" reviews if you want, or learn from my mistake and book with someone else. Why take the chance?
We were in cab #4468 and the driver was wonderful! but customer service office is awful. We've been calling non stop and no one will answer the phone or call us back. We are trying to retrieve our black Oakley backpack that we left in the trunk. #4468 picked us up at midway on 2/24/16 and dropped us off at 9:50pm at 1 west superior. We watched video footage from my buildings security cameras to get the cab info. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

I was very disappointed with my ride. First thing I was disappointed in was he was very rude, second thing his car was very messy with a Nasty smell and lastly, he was on his phone talking about his personal life getting irritated when I asked questions. RUDE & GHETTO NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THEM !
biggest joke I've ever seen. This is not a cab company, this is a fake, every time i used them, they were late, annoying (especially the guy on the phone) and so expensive. don't call them trust me.
