I went their to purchase a vehicle today and left my wallet on the desk by accident went one block up the road was gone less than 3 minutes and it was gone when I came back only two guys were there a sales rep and a porter you take a guess as to what happened to it.Theives and Liars dont go their you will regret it!

Waterpump Repair

I had went to Quality Care Automotive based off the phone quote I received for my waterpump. I get there and they check my car and they came back and told me that yes it is indeed my waterpump and that I also should change my timing belt as well. And they also advised me that I had a cracked thermostat housing.I asked the guy how much it would be he advised me between 500 and 525.00 to fix it. I stated okay. I go and pick it up and the guy tells me it will be 544.63 I advise him that i was quoted 500-525.00. He stated okay i will go ahead and charge you the 525.00 so i was fine with that. I drive out of the repair shop and less than a mile away from the shop my car dies at a red light. I turn the ignition and it come back on. At that moment I call the shop and advise him of what is happening he stated okay we will check it to bring it back so I think oh the guys are honorable and are going to fix it. I take it in the next day and he ensure me they will fix the problem and keep in mind i have to miss work to do this. Then he calls me and says they correct the problem didn't fix it but corrected it. He told me that they moved some wires around and corrected the problem and also stated I now have a radiator leak and my motor mount is cracked. I said fine and took my car as soon as I get home guesse what the battery light on my console goes on. So I am thinking that maybe its a sensor thats out. So I leave to go to my son doctor and then out of the doctors office my car dies. I had to call the cops to get me out of the middle of the road and now my alternator is out. So now I am going to wait what they are going to tell me and do and i hope they do the honorable thing and realize they just screwed up my car. I will never ever go to this shop again. I will never recommend them to anyone else. You only get one chance at a first impression and they did not do well with this one. Oil Change & Transmission Flush

I had previously requested prices on oil change and transmission flush for a Diesel Ram 3500 Dodge. I thought the price was reasonable that I was quoated. After the service was accomplished the bill was about $50 dollars more than quoated. In fact it was $20 more than the dealer charges and they check all fluid levels etc. I guess I can blame myself for not getting a bottom line price before the work was done. I have never been charged a shop cost of $24 for shop supplies when getting oil changed and transmission serviced. Also my windshield washer was empty and the Air Filter needed replacing. When the dealer or Jiffy provides this type service everything is checked. Now I wonder if they even checked the rear end oil. I don't think they will get to much more of my business, I would definately not recommend them to a friend. I like to deal with honest people which are hard to find in the automotive repair field.

Good Service!: I went there several months ago to get my tie rod and boot fixed and the people were so kind and very professional. My car ran smoothly after, and I am thinking of going back to get my a/c fixed

I am writing to say after speaking with one of the managers (Gregg) he convinced me with superior customer service ,that QCA is definitely a top rated establishment. He handled my complaint with professionalism and gave me an amicable solution to the issues involved. I will definitely return to his business for future repairs. If ""you"" too have needed repairs I recommend you stop by QCA and see Gregg he is a Godsend. OMW

GREG & DAVE ARE THE BEST!! HANDS DOWN!!!: I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE EVER. THESE GUYS DO IT ALL. NOT ONLY THAT BUT THEY ARE THE ONLY PLACE IN SAN ANTONIO THAT IS OPEN ALL DAY SUNDAYS. THAT MAKES IT SO EASY FOR ME SINCE I WORK ALL THE TIME. THAY ALSO HELPED ME WITH AN INHOUSE PAYMENT PLAN. THEY EVEN GAVE ME A RIDE TO & FROM WORK WHILE THEY FIXED MY CAR. PLEASE PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE.. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING DONE THAT IS VEHICLE ORIENTED GO TO QUALITY CARE!!

Worst mechanics ever

Horrible place. Spent over 2000 and my car still does not work right. Charged me over a 1000 in labor. I do not suggest going to this place. If my car had been fixed after this I would have been fine but it isn't. Do not go to this place. They just want your money.

ALWAYS provided me and my family with great service

I have been using QCA for about 6 or 7 years now and the reason I have been with them this long is the service. Gregg is a standup guy and has ALWAYS provided me and my family with great service. Even the times when I am deployed overseas, he always goes out of his way to make sure my family always has transportation. There are some things in life that I will not pay for, but I will ALWAYS pay for great service and that is what QCA has provided for me all these years. Greg even allows me to call him even if I am just looking for knowledge about a certain type of vehicle or how something works. I appreciate all the service and I will always be greatful for an Establishment like QCA and how well they serve the surrounding communities. I recommend all my friends to QCA. Thanks Greg and thank you for QCA!

I WOULD TRUST GREG WITH MY LIFE!

Quality Care Automotive is hands down the best dealership i have ever been to!! Not only are all the employees curtious and kind, they are very experienced and are able to answer nearly every question i ask them. The owner of Quality Care (Greg Meuth) has helped me and my family beyond belief when it comes to the need of any form of transportation. My vehicle broke down and they proudly fixed my car and gave me a lift when i needed it. Those that work there are honest and trustworthy and help me with my every need. I WOULD TRUST GREG WITH MY LIFE! Take my advice, not going to Quality Care would be an enormous mistake!! Keep up the great work Quality Care Automotive, you will be seeing me soon.

Beware of the amatuer mechanics and their amatuer owner

This is by far the worst place to purchase a vehicle. The general Manager, Jimmy, i heard sold his 1st wife, his mother, and his own 2 daughters vehicles that are no longer working. His daughters even brought the cars to the shop for them to have them fixed and he would either charge them or semi fix it til a week later it was back in the same condition. All of those cars are pieces of S _ _ T!. If you have already decided to buy from them, let it be known now that you will be without a car in about 6 months. That is their life span. No matter how good a car looks from the outside, beware that all of them are rigged. I can't believe that no one has ever complained about this dealership. I will be the first. I will let who i need to, the higher ups, what the place is doing to families that needed a car and trusted them and now are without a car. This is a selfish act upon Greg, the owner. He has children, would he sell these crappy vehicles to them? I dont think so. I hope oneday that Quality Care Automotive gets the hell out of Universal City.

A family member went to Quality Care Automotive, yesterday in the evening. And bought a 1996 Honda Accord. They put a $1,000 down and finance the balance of $5,000. Came home and had another family member look at it, the Service Engine Soon light was on so they took it and had it checked out. There were over 7 diffrent things wrong with this vehicle. The O2 Censors, Fuel Injectors, etc. The next morning shortly after starting the car it started smoking, over heating. Blowing hot air out of the vents inside the car. Then died. Had to get it jump started. Went up to Quality Care and told them of all the problems, the employee asked what we thought he could do about it, the papers had been signed, and that was the end of his involvement. It had been less then 24 hrs. from purchasing it, and we wanted our money back. He said he couldnt do that, that would be up to the owner, who wasn't there and wouldn't be back until Monday. He was in South America on a boat. We told him then give me another car, how about that one (pointing) he said No that car has electrical problems. (yet it had the sale price in the window, and another employee was showing the car to someone) We will be back there Monday morning, with our lawyer. Please take my advice DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! The owner is in South America vacationing, relaxing on boat with all the money he has scammed out of honest hard working people who bought cars that should not have been sold.

Worst Experience Ever

My husband purchased a Chrysler 300, not the new one, from the store located on Pat Booker in Universal City and was charged way to much for the condition of the car was in. The dashboard had a huge flaw in it, there was no insulation to block sound on the passenger side front door (so you always thought the door was open and could hardly hear anybody talk; it also leaked when it rained), only the side door interior lights worked, the lighter did not work, the rear defrost didn't work, the car overheated a lot and bothe of the mirrors were being held on with black tape. Yet they charged him over $8000 for this car. Numerous times he tried to get them to fix the insulation problem, but they never did. He had to pay out of his own pocket , over $600 dollars to fix the overheating problem, on top of his contracted payments. Also, they will come and take your car without even contacting you. My husbands car was taken, because they said he didn't make a payment, but he had the receipt showing that he did pay them. They did not call him or anything and then would not give him back his car because the person he made the payment to wasn't at work. It took almost a week to get the car back and when he did, they had gone through all of his stuff in the car and were trying to put it back on the lot to sale again. My husband is a truck driver and doesn't get paid unless he works, they cost my family over $800 of our monthly income when this happened. They offered no apology. If you are thinking of purchasing a vehicle from them, I say DON'T DO IT. You will regret!
