Me and my wife had a party of 300 and when we called to reserve the 3rd floor and mezz a young girl answerd the phone very politely. When we got to SAMBA the day of our party the owner was at the door and greeted us our family and friends loved all the meats and dancers. There was a DJ upstairs and a wonderful outdoor patio. Service at Samba was woderful a few days after our party Samba called us and asked us if we enjoyed the service and food. Over all i would rate this the best Brazilian Steakhouse & Lounge in California. We went back to the resturaunt in Redondo Beach after our party in the location in Universal City Walk.

I enjoy their food here. I don't know if it's also the same chef cooking as the one in Top Chef this season, but at least I like the super fast way they get the food out to you, without feeling hurried. More accurately, I think I should say that the food comes out in successions, at the perfect timing.

Meat is very low quality, 75-80% was tough not because it was over cooked. Every piece had gristle going though it. The cook said the best cut of meat he had was top round. Wow and to charge you $38 +18% tip + 10% tax and watered down drinks for $12. What a rip off. DO NOT go and get ripped off. The dancers don't even dance to the music correctly. They just shake their booty. An insult to Brazilian's. What a waste of money.

Our family went there on New Years Eve, and upon arrival were told that the dinner that evening would be $60.00 a person (no mention of this when reservation was made) The menu was exactly the same as it is everyday for this price too. The waitress was aloof, service was poor, meat was tasteless and salad bar was sub-standard. After dinner, as we were having coffee with dessert, the waitress approached us and advised us that the manager was very upset, because there is a two hour minimum for a customer to be in the restaurant and told us we had to leave. I spoke to the manager and she said that was the policy, (keep in mind, there was not one single customer waiting to be seated) This restaurant is over-rated and on New Years Eve, they had a total of three dancers. What a rip-off, I would never recommend this place to anyone. Go to Fogo De Chao if you want good quality meat and service.

So we went there on a Sunday expecting to eat delicious meat. yes, the come around often to offer meat but it seems that every single one was sooo salty. The sides are self serve, but there's only a choice between rice, beans, and some burned potatoes. Cold salads were ok. After not really enjoying the meal, our bill came $75 for 2 people!!! Would never go there again.

The Citywalk is a really cool place to go if you just want to hang out, look at different stores, shop, eat, drink and meet interesting people. I like coming here to people watch or hang out with friends. I am glad we have a place like this close to home. It is a tourist attraction but it makes it even more interesting.
I'm Brazilian I know Brazilian food, that's the worse restaurant I've ever been, the food is awful the service is ok, but I was there for the food because I miss it a lot, I HATED IT wast of money and time. If you at Universal city walk go to Bucca de Beppo. DON'T WAST YOUR MONEY ON SAMBA THE ONLY BRAZILIAN THING IS THE NAME.
Love the fresh grilled meat concept, especially served tableside immediately. It keeps coming unitl you're ready to explode! So good that stopping is difficult. Has a great salad bar too, lots of delicious and great sides. Not your typical wilted lettuce, bacon bits and chopped eggs!!! Lots of exotic grilled veggies, cheeses, mixed salads and even smoked salmon. Trying one of their unique Caiprinhas is a must, they have the only Caiprinha bar in LA I was told. The blood orange one was delicious! If you're in the mood for some real fun, great food and something different, this is your place. You won't be sorry!
I went there on Friday night and felt in love with this place. The decor is very festive yet modern, the food is delicious and the idea of all you can eat meats speaks for itself. All you do is grab whatever you wanted from the buffet and they will bring you tons of meat to try. I loved the fact that we could seat back and enjoy the meal rather than trying to figure out what to eat and compose our own dinner. I also liked the entertainment they have. We have seen 3 beautiful dancers dancing Samba in the middle of the restaurant. You feel like you flew for few minutes to Brazil to see carnival. This place is great!

We came for brunch on a Sunday and wow!! All you can eat meats and a wonderful salad bar!! Best bang for your buck for a AYCE Brazilian BBQ place!! The pepper steak is my favorite!! The brunch has endless champagne or mimosas included in the price!! Too bad we missed the Samba dancers!! They perform at night...so we definitely will go back for dinner!! Loved it!!

My husband my friends and I went there to have a good time we waited in line for 20 mins. or so then when we got to the front a big black security guard didn't let my husband in because supposedly baggy Dockers pants. His pants were no baggier that any one else in that place. It was so embarrassing!!! I will never go back there again or recommended to anyone else I know!!!

OK, so this definitely an L.A. tourist trap, and if you don?t come with a car full of people, parking is atrocious at around $10 per car. However, all the flashing billboards and larger-than-life architecture make Citywalk feel like a little slice of Vegas in Valley, just without the gambling. Tapas bar Tu Tu Tango and Southwestern rodeo restaurant Saddle Ranch are my favorite places to dine. I love looking at the quirky objects inside the socks and magnet stores. Citywalk is a great place to bring out-of-towners for some entertainment or for Angelenos who are not too embarrassed to mix in with the tourists.

As an outdoor mall, this one misses the mark. As a tourist destination too. Whether you're going for a movie, to shop, or to dine, it just seems like its a mess. The alley is too narrow, leading to crowdedness even when the crowd isn't that large. Tourist mix with area teens. And they charge for parking at ridiculous prices. All the stores pretty much sell stupid stuff. And the restaurants don't really even try. If you're from out of town, I'd suggest you skip the trap and go straight for one of the Los Angeles restaurant rows or upscale shopping centers. Visitors who have experienced Orlando's version of the same beware, this one is nothing like the open airy and thriving east coast namesake.

City Walk has improved over the years. There were issues regarding gangs that hung out there that seem to have been resolved with an increased security presence. They have nice places to spend your time and money like BB Kings, the Rhumba Room, Howl at the Moon piano bar, and the newly remodeled AMC movie theaters. The major issue is that it costs $10 to park in order to go to Citywalk so I'd recommend carpooling here and make sure you are going to do something or else you're just paying $10 to see tourists, drunk clubbers, and neon lights.
