Horrendous experience! We purchased a mattress & box springs in July 2016, paid in full & expected delivery August 8. We have called every week since then & spoke with the owner. It's always an excuse. No mattress!!! We have contacted our local magistrate & have begun recovery through our credit card. We will also contact the BBB & attorney general. Upon research I have discovered that if you purchase a floor model or from their many "warehouse liquidation" sales, you stand a good chance of receiving your item. If the item had to be ordered, you're screwed. Mundels takes your money & never orders the item. Wish I had seen all the bad reviews here & other sites. It's the same story for items never ordered. This has to stop!

Bought a washer, dryer and fridge. Found exactly what I was looking for and the sales gal couldn't have been better! They arrived to install at the time promised and did a great job installing everything... the delivery guys couldn't have been nicer or done a better job! I don't understand all the negative reviews? I'd buy from them again in a heart beat!




NEVER-NEVER-NEVER shop at Mundel's! I have been waiting for 2 months for a mattress & box springs and now am having trouble with getting a return phone call from Mundel's. I wish I would have seen this review page before I spent my money there. I am giving them a couple of more days, and I am contacting the AG, the BBB and a lawyer!!! Again, don't shop there. They don't even deserve a one star rating.




This place is a total rip off. Almost all of my furniture arrived chipped. The delivery men had to ASK ME for tools to assemble the furniture!!! It was ridiculous. Still waiting to see if my issue will be resolved or not, but by the look of these other reviews it doesn't bode well.




Too bad I didn't read these reviews first! Spent $3000 on bedroom/LR furniture first week of April. Received my bedroom furniture 3/29, but my living room set (which we bought a floor model specifically to avoid the 6 week special order wait time)was "over sold" and they "thought they had another at the warehouse but didn't". They assured me a new one was ordered and would be in April 2nd. Heard nothing last week, called today, and was told to "be patient, it takes up to 6 weeks for special order". Um, no, you screwed up, and I didn't special order anything. I decided to ask for a refund (figuring there would be a 20-30% restocking fee deducted) but the snotty little receptionist said "no, absolutely no refunds, you're stuck". Awful company, stay far away. Oh, and write the AG as well as the BBB.

On July 17, I purchased a complete living room set for a business. I was told 2-3 weeks and it would be in. After 2 months, I went to see them and this is when the BS started. The 'business manager' stated that I had to speak to the owner, who was not in. This occurred weekly. No one, from the business manager, to the shipping manager to the owner could explain where my furniture was. "They haven't received it yet", was all I kept getting. No one returns phone calls and the business manager actually called me a liar at one point. 2 weeks ago, the owner was supposed to call me back and of, course, never did. I went in today and ta-da, the furniture had been sitting IN THE STORE for a week. Which I had to go back and pick up myself because now they can't deliver it for 2 weeks. They offered me a 15 inch TV for all of my troubles. Not worth it. Stay away from them! I wish I could have rated them 0 stars.

Do not waste your time going to Mundel’s furniture. Every review here mimics my experience. Purchased a very expensive mattress on April 17 and was promised two week delivery and a free 19” TV. Two weeks pass and no call to schedule delivery. I call and speak to a receptionist who tells me “it should be arriving next week”. Another week passes and no call to schedule delivery. This time when I call I get Randy Mundel who apologizes for the tardiness and that I can expect a discount for my next purchase. And the mattress should be in next week. Next week I call back and speak to Randy (after leaving several messages that never get returned) and he says that the mattress should arrive in two weeks but to compensate me I’ll be receiving a 42” TV. Two weeks later (6 weeks after initial order) I have no mattress, no TV and cannot get my phone call returned. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card to get my money back. Mundels has poor customer service and CANNOT deliver anything in a timely manner. Do not go to their store, you will regret it.



Save yourself a lot of grief a...

Save yourself a lot of grief and shop somewhere else! After the initial items we ordered were discontinued in the color we wanted, the owner suggested we order a different color and then take the items home and paint them. Really? Every time I called to see when my furniture would be in, I would hear "it will be in next week". After 12 weeks, I never did receive my furniture, so I disputed the charges through my credit card company. The owner is very unpleasant to deal with and I will never set foot in any business associated with him ever again!

That is so true.. When you call mundels the lady answering the phone always says mr. mundel isnt in and he will call you back.. That doesnt happen. The are the worst company to buy anything off of. The people that work there are rude and they will lie to you. Please buy from somewhere else
