T & L Brake And Transmission

I had been coming here for several years. Not any more, Chris had my truck for a week, didnt get to it, had to bring it back, told him the power steering fluid was leaking. He said its because Jiffy Lube over filled it. Thank God my son pulled into the drive way and wasnt on the road when the steering gave out because of no steering fluid, after Chris specifically told me not to fill it. He said there was nothing wrong with it, but found another issue that cost $388. Brought it back in for the steering fluid issue, had to keep putting steering fluid in (couldnt bring it in at the moment) for them to find I needed a new steering fluid pump, you guessed it another $400. My sons picked up the truck yesterday, had to take my son to the ER and when I got in the gauge idiot light was on and my oli pressure gauge wasnt moving. Needless to say I was pretty upset, I called Chris at 8am and he said to bring it in. When I got there he was on the phone, he said its the oil pressure sensor, I replaced it and didnt charge you, did he expect me to do cartwheels after everything he had already put me thru. He knew I was not happy, he sends Shaun out to check my truck, 1st he pops the hood, then he was out there with a socket set, all this time Chris is ignoring me. No one is saying anything, Chris said to stay that it wouldnt be long when I called at 8am. I noticed Shaun was inside working on another car so I asked Tracy is it ready. She asked Shaun, No we are waiting for the part. So if I hadnt asked when I did no one would have said a thing. I definitely wont ever come back here again. Find me a reputable mechanic that knowa what they are doing and I suggest you dont come here either

I have had a chattering braking problem for years. Other mechanics were unable find or fix the problem. After a short test Chris was able to diagnosed the problem and explain clearly what was causing the it. The brakes were fixed at a very reasonable cost. Best of all my car now comes to a smooth stop. I highly recommend T & L.

I brought my car 2002 Acura RSX TYPE-S by tow truck this morning at T & L because my car CLUTCH was burned out. I spoke w/ Jonathan and he said he will call me after 1 hour & 30 minutes after inspection & he will tell me the price to fix the clutch. I called him after 3 hrs & he told the estimate is $1,856.00 parts & labor (900 plus for the labor & 800 plus for the parts). I was surprised since the estimate was so high & my budget is only to $800.00 to $900.00. I looked around and spoke to 3 auto shops. I called SHELL gasoline station auto shop Mission Blvd U.C & the estimate to fix my car clutch was only "$650.00" w/ life time warranty & two other auto shop quotes were only "$700.00". So I decided to pulled out my car from T & L by tow truck (through my own expenses) & transferred to Shell Gas Station auto shop in Mission Blvd, UC. This is my advice for anyone...."people will take your money if you don't know anything about your car!"
