Overall

The installer was nice and showed up on time, the installation looked good but the glass is flawed. On the lower driver's side of the new windshield they installed are some wavy lines distorting my view. It's very distracting and annoying.



In addition to the flawed glass, the big problems with this company arose in how they treat their customers for billing. I had potential identity theft on my checking account and had to close it. So the check I wrote them did not go through. My fault, yes. But Safelite never notified me that this occurred. Since the checking account was closed, I never found out from the bank that the check didn't go through either. Safelite never called, emailed or wrote me. Nothing. But apparently, they just sent me right to a rude collection agency that demands I pay immediately over the phone. The collection agency won't send me a bill, she said she "will not waste her time sending a bill." I want a bill so I can verify the charges and the company so I can pay it. But to this day, I still don't have a bill. Amazing.



It's my fault for the check, but people make mistakes, and doesn't Safelite have an obligation to their customers to at least notify them that they have an outstanding balance before they stick a mean and rude collection agency on them?

Overall
Great Service

Made appointment same day for mobile install of windshield on Sabaru. Was one of the least expensive, called in advance of arrival, Nick showed up on time, completed the work within 45 minutes and did a great job. Highly recommend.
