William Armstrong, MD, is a highly skilled urologist providing versatile, evidence-based urology services for men and women at Armstrong Urology in Tyler, Texas. In addition to treating all male and female adult urologic conditions, Dr. Armstrong specializes in the surgical treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), including robotic procedures using the daVinci® robotic arm. Dr. Armstrong completed his bachelor’s degree at Tulane University in New Orleans and his master’s degree at Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi. He then attended medical school, earning his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Armstrong went on to serve his internship and residency at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System in the Illinois Medical District of Chicago. He completed additional residency training in urology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Armstrong incorporates data-driven management options with specific patient factors and a high standard-of-care to optimize treatment strategies for a broad range of services.
