You should know that any parts you buy here are "universal parts" may or may not work. I just bought a water solenoid valve for my dishwasher and when I got it home it was the wrong part. I partially blame my self for not taking the old valve with me. The reason I did not is because I assumed I was buying original equipment but that was the wrong assumption. I was put off when I realized what they were selling. The "universal part" was about 30% higher than what I could have got on the internet for original equipment. So this was a lesson worth learning. If you are in a hurry and can't wait then go ahead...just be sure before you leave that you are getting the right part.

Called Dale he proceeded to tell me it was inconvenient for him to come out to my house. What great customer service that is. I would not recommend him to tie my shoe laces.
The website for Dale's Appliance Repair states that he services Tyler TX and the surrounding areas. I live 15 miles outside Tyler, in Winona. When I contacted him to schedule a dryer vent cleaning (it vents through the roof) he told me he lives outside of Whitehouse and doesn't go past the Loop in Tyler. So, if you're not in Tyler or Whitehouse, you might want to call someone else. He was polite, though.
Even though Dale doesn't service my area (Mt.Enterprise) he was very helpful to me over the phone, I gave him the error code and he told me what was probably wrong with my refrigerator. I appreciate the help and I wish you would expand your service area. :-) Thanks again, TCraddock
Mr. Cox provides excellent service. He is very knowledgeable and examines the appliance quickly, and is very thorough in his repair. Thank you!
Eliminate the middle man. They use RepairClinic.com and Sears website to "lookup parts". They even show you the same videos you can look up at home on YouTube.com. Get your model number, go to RepairClinic.com or another site, type it in and it will list the parts and even provide the troubleshooting that U-Fix-It does, minus the 30% markup. U-Fix-It offers next day shipping, but its in the afternoon before it arrives. I saved $80.00 AFTER paying an extra 7 for overnight simply buying it online. Bottom line: A middle man service that does not need to exist in the internet age.
I couldn't really be happier with Dale. He's friendly, he works efficiently, and he's affordable. He could charge more and I'd still use him. He knows it too, but he likes how his life is working out and he's not into price gouging to get rich.He fixed my washing machine in 10 minutes, I chatted him up for about 15 more minutes, then I let him go. If you aren't satisfied with Dale's service call then you're probably just in a bad mood.5 stars.-Seth, Whitehouse, TX
One of the best service calls ever -- Dale immediately found a small part that had failed, had a replacement in the truck, got the refrigerator back on line in ten minutes. Even vacuumed behind the unit before sliding it back in place. Very affordable and super friendly.
Very knowledgeable of the appliance and very quick repairs. Awesome service.
