I love Red Lobster food, usually! This was an exception. The service and biscuits were great. The seafood stuffed flounder meal was comical at best. The small portion of fish was like mush. My wifes lobster was even bad. The lobster was like chewing on rubber. All of the food seemed like it was overcooked in a micro wave. The menus and table top where sticky, and there was alot of crumbs and a few hunks of food on the foor. All-in-all a very bad dining experience at this Red Lobster location, and definitely not worth the money.
My husband always rely upon me to choose where we'll eat out at if one of us don't cook on a particular night. Well, normally I'll go to places we've patronized before but decided I would surprise him with somewhere different. So like I do with anything else before I /we spend our money, I researched the place. Let me be honest here, I have no idea what planet, galaxy, town, or time zone the other NEGATIVE reviewers went to when reviewing this place but its no where near the place or experience we had. As soon as we walked in we were sweetly greeted and told we could sit wherever we wanted. Next, Kirby our waitress attended to us as if we were near and dear to her. Amazing!!!! Our appetizer then entrees were bought out before we could drink half of our beverages. And Hadley at the bar was so courteous and friendly, she multi - tasked like no other! This place rocks! The waitress checked on us constantly and the food was presented beautifully and tasted divine. A true GREAT place!!
Dined here with family the day after Christmas. The venue felt homely but the experience was not so thrilling. he food was tasty but other places serve similar dishes that taste better. The temperature of the entrees concerned me as well. I didn't think anything was under-cooked but they could have been served the entrees hotter. I ordered the gumbo, a friend shrimp plate and split an order of oysters with the table. The oysters were tasty but the cheese was very chewy, making for an improper balance. It has good flavor but just too chewy. The gumbo has more of a traditional taste but was packed with way too many ingredients and not enough broth to have a balanced experience. I probably wouldn't order it again. The shrimp plate was good. The fries were chewy as well and I like crisp fries. My wife ordered the crab legs. They were pretty good but they were very soft when cracking. Just a note for those who prefer a firmer crableg. All in all, the experience was okay. I'd probably go back for more oysters but that's about it, unless dining with others.
I give this place a 3 because the food is ok. There is one dish that I love and that's the only reason info to this place. The customer service is well what can I say it's just young folks doing there job. We went on a special day and the lady who cleans the tables was really rude. She saw that we were low on chips and she just grabbed the tray did not say excuse me or anything. Than she came back and placed them down with such an attitude. We will not be going back there again. Besides the salsa is not even good. It's bland. I think there more worried about selling alcohol than selling food.
Bad service and it takes forever for the food to get to you plus the food isn't all that great it's not worth the money at all.
Katie took real good care of me tonight. Food was great but no draft beer. Just bottle.
WARNING---FOOD POISONING!!! October 3, 2014 my spouse and I had dinner - I had shrimp dish. Awoke at midnight with severe nausea and diarrhea with extreme dizziness. Spent next four hours on bathroom floor with continued vomiting and diarrhea. Fainted trying to get back to bed and remained on floor suffering from terrible chills and labored breathing for several more hours. Remained in bathroom and bed all day Saturday, Sunday and most of Monday. Severe case of shellfish poisoning . Fortunately for me my spouse is healthcare practitioner and able to tend to me. I contacted the company (in person and by phone) and were very unconcerned and even unwilling to provide a management person for me to talk with. NEVER NEVER AGAIN will I eat at Happy's Fish House or either of their other two restaurants, Posada's or Mercado, in Tyler.
Im Sarah and one of the owners, I'm very sorry if you ever receive bad services and I have been trying to find a waitress that can handle the busy lunch hour and still get a smile on her face :) . Come back anytime and tell me who you are and I would love to give you one a gift card. again I am very sorry if you were treated bad but I am looking for some good help for a waitress. Again thank you and I'm so sorry
I've been here a couple of times. And it is delicious. But the service is cold. They're not friendly. Well at least not to us. I've notice this every time. And I'm not the only one who see it. Food is great. Guess u don't mind crappy service for great food. Or do I?
