After reading all of the positive reviews we decided to try this buffet. It was really disappointing. The beef (kalbi and bulgogi) were so fatty there were grease splatters everywhere. And the veggies were ho-hum and bland. We will stick to our favorite high quality buffet, Korea House on Brookhurst. Don't bother with this one.

I've been to a few Korean restaurants. My sister moved up to LA a few years ago, so I get a chance to go up to LA and Korea town. Her boyfriend is Korean so he takes us to all these different restaurants. They have restaurants for every different type of Korean food.
So I've gotten to know Korean food pretty well. I've also gotten to know Korean barbecue really well. Maybe too, well. It's sooooo good. (I've gotta stop going to Korean barbecue). I've noticed that the quality of meat really differs from place to place. The Seoul Garden Buffet is good, but not fantastic. It's nice that you get to eat as much as you want, but you can guess that the quality of meat isn't top notch. It's good if you're really hungry. The buffet style makes it quick and easy. But the meats not as tender as I've had at other places. Their scallion pancakes are fantastic though. Service is pretty typical for Korean restaurant. It definitely helps to go with someone who's Korean.

Five stars for Seoul Garden Korean Barbecue!!
We found this place totally by accident and have been devoted customers for about a year! The selection is great and it's fun to cook your own food on the tabletop grills. We just took our 14 year old daughter and some of her friends there for her birthday last week and the kids loved the do it yourself cooking and the huge variety of all u can eat goodies! The restaurant is very accomodating and let us bring in our own birthday cake and the waitresses gathered and all sang ""Happy Birthday"" (which appropriately embarassed our teenage kid!!!) The management is very nice, the service is good and we will continue to be loyal customers and enjoy this well priced, family friendly Korean BBQ for many years to come!

We found this place by doing an online search for good Korean BBQ restaurants and I'm so glad we found this one! I've never been to an all you can eat Korean BBQ place... usually the places we go are a la carte and we end up spending about $60-$70 for two of us but here it was $20 a person and it's all you can eat! Definitely can't beat that! And the food is delicious! We've made it a point to go every time we're in South Cali.

Very good food, as soon as u walk in they seat u done unless they r busy typicaly on the weekends, after that u go n serve ur self all the meat u want, when u want n how u want since u cook it at ur table. It a little expensive not 2 much but worth it. U have a large selection 2 choose from. The costomer service can be better but never rude. If u come during lunch u can save yourself almost half of the bill if u come at night... very good...

what can i say? this place has awesome food and always is fresh. There is so much to choose from. One side has the raw meats that are seasoned to be cooked right on ur table. The other has the kim chi and vegetables. There is soooo much to choose from. Its a bit expensive but its all u can eat and well worth it. The service is not that friendly and attentive except when they are almost closing and want u to hurry and leave. But, oh well, u are there for the food anyways and its a buffet and u have a grill on ur table so u pretty much do everything for yourself, just dont leave a good tip. I recommend everything even the squid and baby octopus.
