Overall
Ms Carlisle

Yesterday, October 10, 2007 I went to the VA hospital in Tuskegee as a walk in. ON top of me being sick, it was my birthday. Most of my visits here have been excellent, most of the employees are nice and courteous. However Ms Carlisle is rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate. She has informed me that the VA hospital no longer takes walk-ins. Monday Oct 8th, 2007 I spent 30 minutes trying to make an appointment before someone answered and told me they were closed for Columbus Day. Tuesday Oct 9th, 2007 I called the VA hospital from 8:15a.m. until I finally got to talk to a person at 11:15 a.m. I informed them that I was trying to make an appointment to see anyone. They said I would have to see Ms Carlisle, but that she did not have an appointment available until Nov 7th, 2007. I said I hoped I would not still be sick in Nov. The woman on the phone said for me to walk in. I told her that they had told me that they did not do walk ins any more. She said that they discouraged them, but if I was sick and needen to see someone to come to the hospital and someone would see me. I went on Oct 10th, 2007 and everyone was nice to me until I got to Ms Carlisle. The first thing she did was put her left hand to her ear as if she were holding a phone and say "Mr. Clay you need to pick up the phone and make an appointment, we don't take walk-ins. I started telling her the problems I had encountered tyring to call to make an appointment. When I told her the woman on the phone told me to walk in MS Carlisle said "No one told you to walk in". That made me very mad and we had a brief argument about who told me what. Then she continued to harass me by telling me that the next time I needed to see a doctor that I needed to go to the Auburn Urgent Care in Auburn, Alabama. She cheked me in a hurried maner, listened to me breath then told a nurse to give me a Nebulizer. Then she left, when I saw her again she immediately began informming me of the procedure to follow next time I was sick. I told her I did not appreciate the way she had treated me. She continued to argue about the procedures for making appointments. She showed no coneren for me, and Never told me what was wrong with me, she just told me to pick up my medicene. I left in a mad, infuriated hurry. I went and got a form and filed a complaint against Ms Carlise, and I do not want to ever have to see her again for treatment.
