I was supposed to get married in May 2017 and i went to classy thread in university mall back in November to look at some dresses, i decided to go with this company and told my girls that i have decided to get their dresses there, so me and my girls went at the end of November to get fitted for there dresses and to sign off that this is the sizes they prefer, but this is when everything supposed to be told to us from the return and refund policy but never was aware of the refund policy or anything which was supposed to be told me and the girls in the beginning, but anyway i tried to get the refund back from where my girls made their deposit. my wedding had to be postponed, either way my girls didn't pay their deposit until December 9th and that's when the order supposed to been placed after all my ladies made their payments so i called early that money on the 9th when they open and told them that the order don't need to be placed, because the wedding has been postpone the owner stated that i couldn't get the money back because the order already has been placed in production and how is that when the order didn't supposed to be placed until that day of 9th when all my ladies have paid so she was very low down and placed the order so i wouldn't get the ladies money back and plus she could have given the money back because we didn't purchase anything and plus the dresses had to be made that could have easily been canceled and refunded the money back but this company is so unprofessional i don't recommend any bride to go here because this place was a nightmare, if i would have known about this place i wouldn't never have went here the staffs all the way up to management is very unprofessional and don't know nothing about anything, so people be careful about this place

I was wondering if this company is operating because they never answer the phone and it's difficult to find the their building.
Classy Threads had the greatest costumer service I have ever had while shopping for a dress. Great!!
This is the place is the worst!! My daughter got a Sheri hill prom dress from there pd over 800 (including alterations) first of all the dress was supposed to be back a week before the prom we got it back the day before the prom (because they put the wrong date for the prom on the dress) when my daughter did try on the dress first she said it was perfect then she noticed there was a problem with the dress under the arms. She told the women that it was to big under the arms and ask her if they fixed it if she would have it back before prom the women snuggled her shoulders. Then the busel was pinned up with a hook right at her bottom. They said they put some kind of stitch in around the bust that we still not found and I took the dress in and the owner will not do anything about until my daughter goes back in for more alterations. The problem is the prom was April 9 and today is April 12!! I wouldn't go back there if they gave me a dress!!
This place is TERRIBLE. Saturynn and Emonfree is super rude. Everything about the store is terrible. Sherri Hill dress is $760 and you can go to Bella's and get the same dress for $500. Jonathan Kayne Wedge Heels are $131 on Amazon and they're selling them for over $200! Their jewelry falls apart easily and they're over priced on those also. I would NEVER buy my stuff from here. It's just a nasty place in general.
I purchased my daughters prom dress from here and the owner is very unprofessional, rude, and loud. When we received the dress AFTER all the payments were made on it, it was very dirty, had oil spots at the bottom, & the beading was coming a loose. When I told her, she then proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do, with my daughters prom only a day away. The store smells horrible, she haves very uneducated, rude, young women working for her. She has no class to overprice and sell them. I do not recommend this dress shop to ANYONE if you have any class about yourself! Thumbs down!!
My daughter and I traveled to several places looking for a Prom dress, Birmingham, Gadsden, to name a few. Drove from Mississippi, Found NO variety, and, no one on one help. Every place we stopped in was very impersonal. Dress garments were just thrown everywhere! When we found Classy Threads Bridal and Formal, I was so IMPRESSED! Very neat, and very organized! They had a Wonderful Variety of Prom Dresses to choose from! AWESOME! The personnel was warm and inviting! Super NICE! They took time with us helping us find the perfect dress, that complimented my daughter and our taste! They had beautiful shoes, to choose from, and showed us shoes that complimented the dress, as if they were made for it. They had awesome jewelry to choose from, and again, assisted us all throughout our shopping to help and suggest items to help match everything! It was the most pleasant and Fun shopping experience, to find the dress, the shoes, and jewelry all in one place! NO running around guessing what will match with what! My daughter was soo excited with what she found, and WE both agreed on the same one! I highly recommend this Classy Shop to everyone! You won't be disappointed! Thank YOU Classy Threads for your help and bringing everything together.
This place is the biggest rip off in town. Most of the dresses have flaws if you look carefully at them. My daughter found a dress that she thought was pretty. It was cheaply made and very expensive. Against my better judgement I bought it. It needed one small alteration. I was told it would be ready in two weeks. It was not ready for 2 months. We got the dress just a week before prom. The alteration were not correct. If I wanted it corrected it would be an aditional charge on top of the 50$ that they had already charged just to sew one thing that maybe took five minutes. Then they tried to sell me double sided tape for 12$ to repair what they charged me 50$ for in the first place. This place is a money pit. Everything is over priced, and the dresses, not to mention the shoes and jewelry are of poor quality. The way this store is thrown together it looks like a thrift shop. Don't waste your time or money. I learned a very expensive lesson. I will never shop here again.
