Best chicken fried chicken I’ve ever had great food for the high price
I joined my sisters from out of town for our Christmas lunch. I ordered fried catfish with cottage fries and gravy. The only thing edible on my plate was the catfish which had a bone in it. The gravy was so salty it was enedible. Both sister had gravy so salty they couldnt eat it. The mashed potatoes was so salty it was enedible. We told server nothing other we will tell kitchen. We put our money on table to pay the three checks. I put 20 down for a 10.04 ck. I was asked do i want change. Same question for both sisters. We had to wait about 15 minutes on change. One sister did not get change . It was a small amount and she was told they kept her change. I talked to the manager on the way out. He looked dirty and his clothes looked dirty. He didnt care that we couldnt eat our lunch. I am a regular told manager i would not be back . We left hungry. I wouldnt feed it to my dogs.
Very fun place good food
I ate there 9/14/2017. The atmosphere was great. The service was great. All of my food was wonderful except the main dish. I had not had a steak in quite some time. They were offering a special KC Strip w/ bleu cheese. It was honestly the toughest steak I have ever eaten in my life. There was a piece of gristle that I had to remove from my mouth when no one was looking. I was so surprised. This was only the third time I have eaten there. It was quite disappointing. I did not say anything because I was with a business group and did not want to cause a seen. On a more positive note, three in our group order the smaller prime rib. They all raved about it. I almost order that, but wanted a steak. In retrospect, I should have gone with the prime rib.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Tulsa. Their food is amazing, very fresh and flavorful. The staff is excellent.
We were a group of eight on a Sunday evening 8 PM. After a forty minute wait we were seated at a very cramped table meant for six. The food is served on small plates in smaller portion sizes (thanks for that two spoon full macaroni portion). The steaks were cooked to order (a miracle around this area) but lacked seasoning. The chicken was also devoid of all flavor save that of the catfish they fried in the same oil some time ago. My baked potato had so much dry rot i thought it may burst into dust at any second. For the $110 bill i would have expected much better food. Next time I'd rather spend $20 at Popeyes and actually have enough to eat.
Ate there Mother's Day. The service was terrible. Worst I've ever had in a restaurant. Waited almost an hour from the time the appetizer was served before the entree. Had to grab a server to get dessert and then found they were out of the bread pudding.
Great food, drinks, music and atmosphere! The employees are friendly and I just love the decor!! Best place ever!!
High prices for low quality entrees. Sirloin tasted like liver and was tough as shoe leather. I shall NOT return.
Beware this place. They will go back and add an extra tip on top of your credit card bill without you knowing it. They have done this to us twice and then didn't even fix the mistake after being called on the phone about it. They claimed they would reverse the charges and send us some coupons. They did neither. Really horrible business practices. We will not eat there anymore.
